Declutter
Stress….ahhh! It can take us over. The first part of our path to spiritual wellness is to relieve the stress that clutters our mind. As you gain headway into clearing your mind other elements of your life will glide easily into harmony. Here our some ways to declutter your mind.
- Journal. Writing down all of your anxieties clears up space in your head for more satisfying and meaningful reflections. Appoint a specific time each day to jot down the jargon that is mentally weighing you down. Pick a soothing spot to write and an inviting notebook.
- Honesty. Lying only creating tension between our true self and our ego. This includes being honest with others and yourself. Telling the truth frees conflict in inside you and in relationships with others.
- Feel. Let your emotions surface. By blocking your feelings life gets tough and problems arise that seem to have come out of nowhere. Make sure to communicate, in a mannerly style, desires and doubts with close family members and friends. The mask you wear will gently fall away and allow a serene state to emerge.
- Evaluate. Jot down all of the planned activities you perform during the week. Take a serious look at the list and see what's important. Slowly withdraw yourself from events that are draining and trivial in your life. If duties such as work or family duties stress you out and cannot be eliminated, come up with comprises to relieve some of the weight they add to your life.
- Breathe. It's simple, non-time consuming, and free. Take advantage of it and get in the practice of taking deep breathes to refresh.
