Store Selling Souls
New York City, NY(DE) - A new store has opened that specializes in selling man's most cherished possession. Souls can now be bought as easily as alcohol and firearms.
The store's owner, Lou "Old Scratch" Sipher, says that his store should not cause alarm, "My store has a wide selection of souls and shouldn't be seen as a sign of the impending apocalypse."
Souls range from high-ranking government officials to ordinary homemakers. "Everyone has a price, but I need to start bringing in some revenue. That's why I opened this store," said Sipher.
Business has been very good since the opening of the store and Sipher is considering opening up a chain of store across the nation and possible the world. "I've bought souls all across this world, so I think I have what you call 'international appeal'," stated Sipher.
The prices of souls range any where from $10 billion to $1, with the average price being around $10,000. Sipher is not concerned about running out of souls or people to buy them because money and greed make the world go round.
"Humans are always asking me to buy their soul and who can't use an extra soul or two. There will always be a large supply and I am just trying to tap into the equally large demand," commented Sipher.
While at the store, this reporter bought two souls and I must say they look nice in my living room.
