Guy in class acting weird

Quick question: I enrolled myself in this summer semester, which consists of 5 classes. The students are the same in all classes. I make friends easily and so on the first and second day, I made friends with almost everyone in the class. Most of the people in the course are much older like in their late 30s+. There is about 6 or 7 of us who are in their 20s.

There's this guy in my class and he's the only one that doesn't talk to me or even tries to initiate a convo. On the first day of class, he came and sat behind me and I'm thinking I'll get to know him now, but that didnt happen. It's been 2 weeks of school, and at this point he talks to everyone in the class except me I thought that may be he's a shy and quiet guy, but he has no problems talking in front of the class or even being talkative with others.

For the past 2 days of classes, he's made an effort to sit close to me. I'm thinking that maybe he is trying to talk to me. Every once in a while he kept glancing at me and he wasn't shy about it either. I felt weird because he kept looking, especially whenever I helped the international student.

So what's the deal with him?

Something about you good or bad stood out to him in his initial observation of you, so he either decided he may like you so he wants to stand back and observe and confirm his interest or...he doesnt care for your personality or the way you carry yourself and wants to keep his distance.
I say mirror him...treat him the same and ignore and talk to everyone else...let him make the first move, and be genuine.

Thank you for your input. I agree with everything you said. Thus far I've been mirroring him. I hope he's not repulsed by me. I'm not rude or loud in class, nor do I make controversial remarks about race, politics or religion.

The reason why I'm creating a post about this is that my intuition tells me that he's a bright cookie. No, he doesn't look like a nerd. He gives a vibe that he's very committed about his education. You know how aquas (both male and fem) are about smart people. I wanna be his friend!!

LOL! You have no idea how much mystery drives me to something, given that there is something to be discovered.

I would that something about you is troubling him and he's trying to figure it out rather than tell you what's in his mind. I think he will eventually decide he needs to approach you more in order to satisfy his curiosity.

thank you. Last time a similar thing happened, that guy eventually approached me. I had a feeling that he was behaving weird because I prolly reminded him of someone close. We ended up being friends, during which he told me I remind him of his wife. LOL. Didnt think I reminded him of someone that close! As in, there was somewhat of a resemblance. But he kept acting weird, even as we became friends and I stopped talking to him.

Thank you. I am all for woman unity. I wasn't going to allow his bad behaviour at the expense of his poor wife.

UPDATE: So he started sitting near me in almost all my classes.

The other day I walked in and noticed that he took the seat next to mine, and his laptop cord was blocking my seat. It was fine by me so I decided to change my seat. He saw me walking away and goes, "Hey! You don't have to change your seat. I can just adjust the cord so you can keep your seat." I smiled and agreed. Time to time, he kept glancing to see what I was upto. It was me because there was no one behind me except a blank wall. lol

After class was done and we went to our other class, he was sitting diagonal from me. I was talking to my friend next to me about random stuff. At one point I asked my friend if this school has a gym. Before my friend could answer, he chimes in "Yeah! It does! I go to it."

I made small conversation during which I found out he's THREE yrs younger than me! He was surprised because he discovered that I'm 3 yrs older than him. lol.

I think he's cute, but I'm afraid he may have a gf I don't know for sure, but at the point I'm more interested in his sign. That will determine how bummed I'll be if he truly has a gf.lol

LOL. Yea, I'll ask him tomorrow. He's always eating in class. We know his future would be fat. lol. jkz. I would hate to bother his food time just to make conversation, solely to get his birthday. lol. But yea, my goal is to get it tomorrow or Monday. lol. I have a feeling that he's a cancer. dun dun dun. On a positive note, I do see a lot of Cancer male/Aqua female matches in real life and on dxp lately.

I'm confused... :s

Also i'm curious about his chart, but if you are going to post it here i would tell him about it. I know some people who wouldn't like it one bit if someone posted their natal chart on the netz without their permission.

Haven't seen you around in awhile. How have you been? I'll let you know if you're right. I'm guessing a water sign as well. I'm going with cancer. Let's see. Keeping my fingers crossed.
