There are some very powerful people that are masons. Whether its because they are masons or achieved that power on their own, is unknown. Like I said, as a collective whole, it is a very influential organization.

Many men join for business contacts - brothers will do business with brothers. They trust each other. It can be as simple as in a small town which store you buy your hardware at or as complicated as high ranking politics.

You will never get your answers until you become one. And, then there are levels of degrees.

But, what you have said so far, it doesn't seem like you are the type they would want in their organization. On your comments, it doesn't seem to me you have the right stuff and are of the right quality of person to be one. Just sayin'.

I see what you're saying, i see why u say i dont have right qualities too its okay i take your criticism, interesting u mentioned "more info is learned as u move up" cause as i understood from their dumb website its only 3 degrees where the only thing u bacically get to do differently is a handshake. I will certainly investigate more and try to get some literature, if it is promising then i will indeed join them, and i will have the right attitude so no worries, i can look pretty decent and innocent if i need to

Why don't you contact a local mason and talk to him? He could answer any and all of your questions.

This site may help:
http://www.masonic-lodges.com/index.html

Most of those books published are done so by people who have no idea what they are talking about. There is a lot of theory by people who don't have a clue. The secrecy becomes an issue with some. College fraternities have secret words and handshakes and they don't get questioned about that.

If you are not into it for the anonymous works and becoming a better person, and you don't really care about other people or the brotherhood, then it sounds like you're not cut out for the masons.

yeah but the funny thing is, Freemansonry is the tip of the iceberg, it includes illuminati, scull and bones, and other powerful groups or so called "societies," if it was simply an "anonymous fraternity charity club ran by government" they would go instinct like every other not so big organization. What I am implying is that all this anonymous donation fraternity crap is just a mask, and only high rank people in the small circle have the power. No I didnt watch scary conspiracy videos or read conspiracy books, its funny, because i started researching scull and bones of Harward and illuminati clubs which everyone knows - exist, and it took me days where i started reading stuff finding related people, then i even started comparing symbols, went as far as connecting symbols on the dollar bill (the great seal) and researching some of them in my college library, then i finally came to the MAIN GROUP that has every other "secret society" under it, and it turns out to be the innocent "brotherfuker anonymous fraternity charity club with gay handshakes" come on people what is this a third grade?, this is a charade, its a mask for something bigger, big influential people would not do this crap because big influential people want to be bigger and more influential and have more power.

And as far as it goes with actual occult of powerful people - its real, ive seen evidence its all over the internet, google bohemian grove, owners of this country doing mock human sacrifices every summer july 15th is kind of an abnormal thing to do.

As far as it goes with me joining them its a big nono.

1. I am special.

Special ed.

2. My reasons are not wrong, since they are my reasons they are always right.

Really? Aren't you the self proclaimed pre med student who can't even grasp the basic concepts of biology?

Whatever the case, if this works out for you, yay. You're just coming off very arrogant and naive, as usual. From what's been pointed out about this organization, it sounds like you're getting into it for the wrong reasons. You want the status, not to help the cause. Good luck getting accepted. If I can see this bs from a mile away via text, I'm sure they'll be able to see it asap.

Honestly, if you're looking to the Masons as something to join to seek power and authority, I think you're going to be disappointed, even if you manage to actually join.

I know, and am related to, a whole bunch of Masons. Thus far, none of them has turned out to be the Super Secret Grand Poobah of the area, or a mob boss, or a mighty wizard, or a bigwig in the "New World Order" and so forth.

What you won't find are the marching orders from the 7th level grand high wizard for the date that the New World Order takes over the earth and you ride bug-like Aliens into battle in servitude to your Martian masters. No, not so much. Leave that to all of the "authors" with some "New book of explosive revelations!" full of unverifiable BS.

lol quite humorous, but those men that you know that are masons are they successful?

What I'm afraid of for you here is that you've got your hands on some Looney Tunes Conspiracy Theory books at the Library (which will stock anything but porno), and that you've bought into some of what those books say, and confronted with conflicting reality you choose to cling to the Conspiracy Theory crap.

The Masons are a charitable organization, doing ANONYMOUS charity, and geared toward taking GOOD men and making them BETTER men - More patient men, wiser men, gentler men, stronger men, helpful men, moral men... from those who were once boys. IF this appeals to you, great, join! You'll love it, you'll find a brotherhood of men where you belong and can do much good in the world if you choose, as well as improve YOURSELF as a man.

Well paying for my lunch.. thing is if I could get favors like being able to invest in military, or being pushed to higher authority ranks, I am gonna become a doctor so I guess it would look good on my app that I help people but I'll specialize in dentistry, showing my interest in helping people really has nothing to do with treating peoples teeth you know what I'm saying? Unless they could push me through to a unique dental research and such, but if its just to gather money and be fair and help help each other it sounds very very "liberal" I'm not a mother Teresa I don't give a crap about ppl I don't know unless they actually are my responsibility or family or friend..

What you told me still does not explain their weird as shyt library, just go on that website and see what kind of messed up stuff they have

NO they aren't always collecting money off of you. However if one of your brother masons at the lodge dies, and say... leaves behind a widow and a couple kids, they will be approached at some point by one of the lodge members, gently asked if they are doing okay and if they need any help. In that case, I do believe the guys all try to pony up whatever cash they can, and it would probably be looked upon poorly if a guy refused... but $50 is all you had, I don't think anybody would complain about that from what I know. They don't expect you to be a money tree that can be shaken. Chances are the only money you will be giving them is your regular dues, which are low.

Oh, likewise, if YOU kick off and take a dirt nap, and leave a wife and kids behind, your brother masons will be coming by and making sure YOUR wife and kids aren't going to go hungry. Food for thought. Yes, it is mutually beneficial.

what are the fees how much, the rummors do not scare me they are the reason i want to join, i have a feeling that there is more to what you both are saying because i checked their library all they have is weirdest books check urself follow the ling i posted on page 1. I just want to know whether it is an elite club that gives u some sort of authority, say, or benefits you in any way, if they accept every john from idaho im not interested, i like unique elite exclusive things

Depending on the lodge, membership dues are about $60 a year, maybe more, maybe less. They don't accept just anyone. Must have a good reputation in your community and must not have a criminal record. As a collective whole, world wide, they are a very influential organization.
