Hi, I'm new to the Aries board.

I'm a Libran and am being pursued by an Aries, because I havent had any dealings with one before I'd like a little insight if you please. What are they like...ie: are they genuine with what they say? Romantic or Not?

He's a funny man and kids around alot. But he freezes up when with me esp around others like he doesnt know what to say...he says alot more over the net and is Full on flattery is the weirdest ways but annoyingly speaks like I am too good for him and has mentioned that he is going to marry me (while intoxicated) or that he is going to be the step dad to my kids. When alone he's more at ease as I think I ramble on and he just adds in but he hasnt tried to kiss me yet.

We met last Nov and dont live in the same country, he lives in my home town and has followed me to an event when I was there last. I'm a regular home goer. He hasnt taken himself off the market and will answer truthfully if I ask but doesnt go into any details..

So any insights to the Arian male will be helpful, thanks

SH

Aries are very romantic but also very sexual. If he's after sex, then he'll tell you what you want to hear. If he's interested in you romantically, he'll tell you want to hear.

OOPS!

He might want reassurance from you as to how attracted you are to him before he makes moves. However, I'm not liking the intoxicated remarks. A red flag in my book, that a man needs to be intoxicated to open up says he needs the bottle a little too much. Plus, the long distance aspect. It's so hard to develop a real relationship that way. And really, how can you truly know what he tells you is the truth unless you know his friends/family who can tell you otherwise if needed. Aries are a 'here & now' type of lover. It can work if he has intense feelings so you may want to let him know how interested you are but if you don't get much back, then he's probably amusing himself with a local.

I do know all his friends, one of my closests is a friend of his...
and I am familiar with what he does. Yes he drinks alot on the weekends, parties, football clubs etc but then so do I..

and I'm not sure I'm interested in a relationship with him but with the way he talks it makes me wonder if it is just to get what he wants...I like having him as a friend and when I am home we go out in a group.

Ov, i think so too...

question is how far should i let his friendship go? It's not out of the question that there is a little more than a platonic friendship on my part, when we first met I was all up for it but then the way he acted with not being able to talk or anything raised a few concerns so I left it alone. Then he called me up after I went back home after a few weeks and befriended me online.

I'm lonely and dont have many men that I would be intimate with...I'm still not sure if i feel this way about him and I know it's not a long term thing because I like where I live and my kids are here and he has his there and it's like the impossible ask either way.

If we were intimate, would it ruin things for him and me as friends? Silly question I spose...? But it's going around and around in my head and I need to hear it out loud!

Hmmm decided to ask another mutual friend what he is like and what she thinks...

She says that he isnt with anyone at the moment and doesnt think he will ever be with anyone as he loves woman too much!

I'm AMAZED at the lengths someone will go to to bed another...

Glad I found out before I allowed anything to develop, I'm not the FWB type tbh!

Be interesting to see how he reacts when I start distancing myself...
