oh, and i should probably add that he said that due to his living in a very small country town in a state that he was not from there were really no girls he could seriously date as he was was from a big city in a very different type of state and couldn't relate to the small town / other state life...

why do you say he has a girlfriend? i know for a fact that he was single when we began speaking with one another because we were set up by mutual friends. i honestly don't think it was possible he had a girlfriend due to the amount of time we talked to one another daily. he also made it a point to tell me when i left after my visiting him (after his move) that he only dates one person at a time. he also repeatedly stated that he has never dated multiple girls at once or cheated on anyone. he actually told me on our first date that he was concerned that i wouldn't be available for the date because he contacted me so long after initially getting my contact info and he feared i would be dating someone else. considering i was dating multiple guys, i didn't see the problem with my dating other men as long as nothing sexual was going on and there was no talk of exclusivity with the other guys. however, he did not agree with my viewpoint about dating multiple people at once and told me that. believe me, i would otherwise agree with you about him having a girlfriend, but i'm 100% certain that he did not have a girlfriend prior to his move and before the first time we slept together. hence, my utter confusion over the lack of eye contact!!!! after he moved, he may have moved on prior to my visit, i can't be certain about.

I was getting to know a Cancer guy for a couple of months and we would talk daily for hours on the phone as it was long distance. We went on a couple of dates. Anyway, as soon as the relationship became intimate he stopped making eye contact with me. The next day it took him several hours before he could really look me in the eye when having a conversation with me. What's up with that? Cancer men, can you please help me...I was and am so confused!!! Why would he behave in such a way? I have never had any type of relationship with a Cancer male before, but prior to sleeping together we got along very, very well!! And prior to becoming intimate, he was very flirtatious and not shy at all making eye contact. Well, he ended up moving and when we spent the weekend together the same thing happened. No eye contact...so please any Cancer perspectives on why this behavior occurred would be very beneficial!!! I have tried my hardest to try and understand and empathize with him. Thank you in advance!!
