Nice

I never put much faith in dream interpretation for that reason. Sure, sometimes so much of it could apply, but the moment everything has to be something... ridiculous.

Cars represent things like power and freedom yada yada. In a dream if I have to have to truck across a great distance, what am I gonna do, walk? :p

It depends I suppose what the focus of the dream is. If the whole dream you are in a car and it's a prominent symbol then by all means decode it. For me, I have lengthy elaborate dreams, kinda like movies. The movie isn;t going to make the protagonist walk for three days if it's not the plot, just to avoid stigma that a car brings :p

also, another thing i have wondered is why or how it makes any sense for another person to interpret your dreams, for they are what we most internally feel are they not?

this is taken from a book called The Twelve Caesers by Suetionius:

[Referring to the location of Julius Caeser on a assize]

At Cadiz he saw a statue of Alexander the Great in the Temple o Hercules, and was overheard to sigh impatiently: vexed, it seems, that at an age when Alexander had already conquered the whole world, he himself had done nothing in the least epoch-making. Moreover, when on the following night, much to his dismay, he had a dream of raping his own mother, the soothsayers greatly encouraged him by their interpretation of it: namely, that he was destined to conquer the earth, our Universal Mother.
