My mother is half Brazilian, half African American and my father is Native American, Irish, and African. His father is half Irish, half Native American and his mother is from Ghana. My mother's father is African American and her mother is Brazilian. My hair gets really curly like this...

I love my curls but sometimes they're a hastle because I have to put this curling creme from Garnier on them to make sure they don't get big so I don't look like a lion lol When it's humid, they get a bit tighter. I've learned to stay away from combs when dealing with my curly hair unless I want a fro! I never comb it unless it's wet. Anyway, now that it's summer time, I've been spending a lot of time outside and when I don't straighten it and just wear it curly, the humidity gets my hair a little frizzy or sometimes the curls are just flat and they don't have that volume they did in the winter when I didn't have to worry about this lol I've heard of multiracial girls using products for biracial hair because the hair types are often similar and they include ingrediants that are healthier for the texture of biracial and black hair. Has anyone ever done this? What were your results? What products should I try?
