| I love it that you came back to finish the story, lushlife. And that you are in a relationship that makes you happy. NEVER let someone act like an a$$ because you make allowances for the quirks of "their sign".......be it gemini......aries......scorpio.......whatever. We gems WILL step up to the plate when someone calls us on our behaviour......or leave because we DON'T want to. That's the scary part. Making us face our decision......we do have challenges in that department. Given the opportunity, people will treat you the way you allow them too. If you are deserving of love and respect, you will get it. |

Posted by lushlife It's been a long time since I've been back to this forum and read my old posting from 2006! I thought it would be nice to drop in and report in on the Gemini forum again. I just can't get enough of y'all. The funny thing is after this heartache I felt, I fell for another Gemini I am happy to report. We're coming up on our three year anniversary later this year and are doing quite well. He is probably one of the sweetest people I've ever had in my life and has redeemed my faith in love and in Geminis. One thing I've observed while being with him is how many Gemini friends and family members he has around him. I went from wondering if I had what it took to make it last with a Gemini, to completely immersing myself in a sea of Gemini friends, family members, and love-of-my life. When it comes down to it, it really doesn't matter what sign one is in a relationship as to whether it is going to last. It is a matter of if it is the right time, place for the two. (Although with Geminis, we know it's never just "two"...rather, more like 4,5,10, 20...) That is wonderful news!!! The other Gemini may one day return, but sooo great that you found a better one,One whose not so afraid of Love!!! |

Pouring out their souls? Strawberry shortcake marathons? That alone should tell you something,lol... We don't really pour out our souls just like that, if at all,& I just love strawberry shortcake & whip creme,lol... Well, time will tell, but from what I know,A Gemini male gets just as weak around an Aries woman as a Gemini female gets around an Aries male!!! Can we say,IRRESISTABLE? |

We sometimes fear the closeness & we get afraid when things seem to good to be true, but thats usually immaturity & the way the world & media describe Love & how hard it is, or the divorce rate,ect.... plus our need to feel free, but when we meet that special some one & they are everything to us & more,we will be back & be totally faithful & true. How could he let all of that intimacy go just like that? I bet he didn't!!! He stayed long enough to get that far with you so my opion is that he loves you or those moments you described wouldn't have been so intense or even close to any of that!!! Thats true intimacy & closeness. He can run,but he can't hide from a love so real,so true & sooooo intensely passionate! |

That post almost brought tears to my eyes Lushlife!!! Thats how my Aries Man got me!!! Everything you posted & then some!!! Wow! I ran for awhile too, thinking this was too great to be true,& sooner or later we would crush one another, but I finally learned to accept it for what it is,THE ONLY TRUE LOVE OF MY LIFE & Some times a great Love Story really does happen! He might have gotten afraid,I was afraid of LOVE it seems or the death grip of it,lol.... But,There is No one on earth that understands me as well as my aries man & we have the greatest of times, & he's also my very best friend. Also,Aries woman do something to Gemini men that no other females can do,& if they are ever gonna be loyal they will with an Aries woman. Many Gemini males in my life are proof of that, just don't boss him alot.He may love your assertive & aggrassive nature, but don't try to control him & he should run right back & be by your side very soon. Give him a little time, but don't be invisible,ok? |

Loving a Gemini is an experience that ma
Posted by lushlife I am hopelessly in love with a Gemini whom I have been seeing for the last 8 months. In typical Gemini fashion, I have experienced many ebbs and flows with this man. As an Aries, it has been so "challenging" to be patient with his changing moods. Presently, I am going through a "cold" moment with him. Here is a poem I wrote today in release to try and explain what I feel about him. I would love hear any comments out there from you Geminis about what I have experienced. Maybe you can help my heart better understand why a Gemini is so afraid to express and feel love. Here it is... He said he "wanted to be HER BOY,"He made her fall in love with him,and THEN he pushed her away. How can his heart run so HOT and cold? She knows it wasn't in her imagination. That first night she spent in his arms, looking up through the skylights at the stars...That moment is frozen in her "FINE" mind.THEY poured out THEIR souls;sharing so many joys,so many disappointments...Those all-night MARATHONS ofstrawberry shortcake and fresh whipped cream,B & B sipping, piano playing, neck kissing, electric fingers, breath-intaking,chakra touching MEMORIES are forever pierced in her heart! She ACHES for him unlike any other...She'll never forget sitting in the back row;the stolen moments in the elevator; Her dried bouquet;BEEF BROTH when she was sick;the walk under the moonlight next to the river;Talks of TRAIN RIDES;SWEET PENNY;tangerines, tea, and the morning paper;his insistence in always sitting next to her, instead of across the table;that Excelsior full-moon wildness;TIGHT TONGUES;Their LITTLE CODES;What they SAID to each other while eating "Pizza in the Rain... "Why is it that when recalling these moments, her heart skips and she feels like she will not be able to BREATHE until she hears his voice or sees his gentle, WITTY smile?Explain why IT is a bad thing. Help her to UNDERSTAND so she can be freed from these chains!Doesn't he remember how good IT feels? Why can't he take just take one more chance?IT will be worth his while...SHE will not fail him...Why does something so amazing send onerunning in the opposite direction?Life is cruel to bring such sweetness and then rip it away, taking a piece of a person's being with it! They can't help but FEEL it missing...there's no SENSE in trying to ignore IT...STILL,The sun keeps rising, dreams keep taking shape and...HOPE upon hope still lingers inside........ |

Lushlife, don't take it personally....this is his problem, he may very well have a high regard for you, but he just can't take the heat. Write a letter that you know you wont mail and tell him how he's hurt you and made you feel....it might help just a little. I also don't think it's just gems...I think every sign and gender can be guilty of ending an intimate rela irresposibly. You need to reassure yourself, that you two had some great times, that he did care for you, that you have great value as a loving person. Sometimes ppl just flake out.

IP | Thank you all for your input. It was much appreciated. It is so weird. I saw this person for 8 months and out of the blue, he completely has cut off all communication with me. It felt so strange to have grown so close to someone and then end it like that with no further words...it would have been nice to at least have some closure. Irregardless of astrology signs, he clearly has "issues" with communication. I have given up on this situation because I know I deserve at least the courtesy of a "goodbye." Lesson learned... To all you gems out there, I love ya, you're a lot of fun, but please remember that as painful as it is for you to hear how you've hurt someone, it is equally painful if you don't give the respect/courtesy to your ex's to at least say "goodbye." It was terribly selfish of him to end things like that and it made me feel like in his eyes, I had no worth. What an awful realization! |
