| I had my gall bladder removed about 7 years ago, after a couple of years of intense pain. I did notice a slight weight gain after the surgery, although after cutting down on food (!) my weight went back to 'normal'. And I notice that I get really bloated after eating anything with a high fat content. I put this down to the fact that since I don't have a gall bladder, there's no extra acid being pumped into my stomach to help break it all down, so it takes longer to go through my system. Sucks really. I do sometimes get the odd pain by my stomach, kind of like you said, the same sort of pain that I used to get. Not sure what this is though, but I try not to worry about it too much |
