Dear Libras, I need some advice

Interesting. I have ALWAYS seen libras killing themselfs over leos. I think leos are great at giving libras attention and praise. I don't see aries making people feel special at all like that. Not like in a bad way, but they are so strong and independent I don't think they care for things like that too much. But I've always seen leo and libras a perfect match.

i dont like it when someone says someone is ugly or the nice term not 'good looking' because everyone is beautiful in there own way and not everything is physical.. i was just saying hes in a relationship your not his gf there for you don't need to change yourself, certainly not for another person and saying your not strong enough is silly everyone is strong in there own way. you dont need to do anything for him period. he knew what he was doing he hurt you he doesnt deserve your time find someone that appreciates you all the time not just when they feel like it.

cause although I dont think shes good looking I saw how good they are together and saw no reason to torment him for nothing by saying she doesnt .
also, I knew Im not strong enough for him, so I would try to sabotage myself with saying these things so that he would no longer keep in touch

curious visitor, I never thought of it that way, thank you! now please don't think Im trying to flatter you, but Ive read so much on the Libra threads all these months ..but somehow didn't have the whole picture untill you wrote

see me I thought he must have lost interest because I gave too much too soon, but when I started analyzing a bit more .. other than effects, impressions and really superficial things .. I don't think Iactually showed him I cared for HIM.

@Gentlestorm pls don't feel offended by what I said about selfishness. incidentally my ex is anAries (5yrs +) and I know they can develop loyalty, but thats my opinion for now ..

Maybe I'm not the typical Leo because I do love giving out affection and I realize that I am NOT the center of everyone's attention *Shock and Horror!!

I'm alright with playing second fiddle and I do like compromise (I'm just usually like that in love and relationships only, work is another scenario all together

leos are all about leo. they are affectionate, but they take affection. they don't give affection. aries can be selfish, but if they like you, they will bust their ass. especially aries women. they want to wrap a man around their finger, but they work for it, rather than just expecting it the way, lets say a leo or gemini might. a leo can expect a ton of flattery from a libra, but only if they give it too. leos don't give much. or if they do, they give out of graciousness, rather than because the person deserves it. they feel they deserved to be flattered for their generousity, rather than just being generous because they like to be.

cajunspirit (a virgo) has commented before on the libra tendency to act like we don't care and that we really do. we act very indifferent. we are diplomats. we've got a poker face on almost 24/7. but that doesn't mean we are. in reality, we are incredibly needy and sensitive. we need to feel loved and wanted. we need to hear compliments, praise, flattery. it doesn't even need to be sincere, as long as it seems like someone is saying it because they want to make us feel good. we need a partner that is physically affectionate. we need a partner who wants to make us happy, rather than expecting us to make them happy. because it's our nature to try to please others, so many people assume that we are happy doing that. but we aren't. we just do it because we want them to like us, so they'll be nice back. we give because we hope to receive. in our minds, that's just the way the world works, or at least is supposed to. when it doesn't, we can be very upset.

if we give and a person takes and does not give back, things get too unbalanced, and we can't stay around anymore. it's very tiring.

we have been called manipulative. in the more stereotypical ways, it's not true. but in this sense it's very true.

leos are very loving. most i've known have definitely had hearts on sleeves at some point. but they are also very selfish. i've got a heavy leo influence and a heavy scorpio influence, making me more compatible with leos than the average libra might be. but even i couldn't actually date one. i've tried. it's not about being unevolved. leos are the kings/queens. they come first. they'll be faithful and loving, but only if you come second. and libras don't like to come second. we like to be equal.

Ive seen it happen to much more "compatible" signs such as Geminis. One sign that seems to get Libras (and dump them ... weird) is Taurus!

tauruses are very flattering. they are sensual. they make us feel good.

geminis are not flattering. they're too busy flitting around and don't give us enough attention. i've had great friends who were geminis. i've tried dating a couple, but they weren't right for me.
