IP | Crabby ass funny. Glad its working out. |
11/11/2009 6:53:28 AM |
IP well i leave it alone because not leaving it alone did not work my leo instinct is to work it out, to talk him out of it...my virgoness makes me want to help him see reason. but none of that works and i know that from trial and error. so now i leave it. just as i suspected....by 4 pm yesterday i was getting an apology for him being a crabby ass....and then a phone call about what he should make me for dinner....lol..... and by the time i got home from work and we ate he wanted to talk about his feelings and at THAT POINT, and only then, when he is ina level place, can I have any success in pointing out to him how his reactions might be overreactions. my mistake as a newbie in our relationship long ago was trying to point that out BEFORE he was ready to hear it. works much better this way. and yeah he has flaws...and so do I. we are what we are...you are either with someone as a partner or not. i mean he may sometimes hate that i am overly opinionated (and he does!) or that i made him prep for this intense counseling session he just had to have with his crazy ex wife who lies all the time (about coparenting) and we role played it and i helped him develop techniques...and he did not want to and they were stupid etc... but wait, last night he is all "and theni used this technique and this one...and they worked...and the counselor agreed with me and told her she was wrong..." and suddenly i was brilliant and right. lol. |

IP | I like the part you said (even the cat) gets it. ha ha Okay I get like this also but not the cat incident funny. Hes blowin steam out thats normal. Give him time. I m surprised that you sense this mood in him and leave matters alone. When im upset nothing in this world would make me feel better. Just time and patience is the best solution. If you love this cancer you'll accept these little flaws. We hide from the world. But once the tides have gone. We will peek out and play again. We will try to make it up too you. Anything!!! |

IP mine has issues whenever an emotion swings too far. like yesterday his computer crashed for the second time in a month. i get this is highly distressing, frustrating and worthy of anger. i just do not see why those emotions need to be taken out on EVERYONE (even the cat!) who comes within a mile radius of the man...and they LAST. like this morning he is SLIGHTLY better, but still "mad at the world." His words. On the one hand it is good he does not take it out with violence or yelling. On the other hand, dealing with the intense brooding is annoying. But after all these years, I realize you cannot talk them out of it...cajole them ...or any other way. so I just pretty much ignore it...say "hope it gets better" and go about my business. at some point he ALWAYS, snaps back to a level field and wants to "discuss " his feelings and whatever it was he brooded on for 24-36 hours (never lasts longer than that really). i used to try and "talk it through" because that is how i would deal with stress....but that is not how he deals and so i have learned that. on the upside...when he does come back to a happier place...he usally bakes up a a storm...a real plus |

IP but we give extra special treatment towards those that are closest to us. I second that remark |

IP Posted by xtina They can be VERY nurturing and caring to those the care for the most, but only to those that they care for the most. Also since they are neighboring signs, especially if they are on the cusp or near it, they will have a lot of Cancer influences in their chart. My ex wasn't a cusper or even close but he had a lot of Cancer influence, like Moon and Mercury in Cancer. He also had a lot of Capricorn in his chart too... no wonder . i wouldn't go as far as to say that we are nurturing and caring only towards those we care about most. i would say that this side of us is even more pronounced. i am caring and nurturing towards anyone who is deserving but i think we leos tend to prioritize ppl in our lives. we usually know a lot of ppl, and have many acquaintances, but we give extra special treatment towards those that are closest to us. |

IP | I assuming that leo is caring, loyal and giving. These are cancer traits. A few if I recall. Any more!! |
11/3/2009 8:20:41 PM |
IP | I assume they would be since they are neighboring sun signs. Leo carries a karmic seed of Cancer therefore they would have a more sympathetic/empathetic understanding of Cancer's actions and emotions; more than any other fire sign I'm sure. |
