Yes I have a Scorpio Moon and Cancer in Saturn. That is it. I was on a Cancer man run for quite awhile. I thought I attracted them because I was kind of bossy. It never occurred to me that I was attracting what I lacked. That is enlightening to say the least. I couldn't imagine having 9 placements in any 1 thing. That would seem so very overwhelming.

9 water placements! That's amazing! No wonder he was "outta this world" and is now really out of this world, RIP!

I think what you said about being attracted to people who have what you lack is right on target! It's that "other half" for whom we always look. Someone who can fill the void. You bring to others the warmth of the rays of the sun, as well as the strength, loyalty, and generosity of the Lion.

9 placements in water.

No wonder he killed himself X.X

He does seem like he would've been a really interesting and deep person though. At least for someone who was close to him. He probably didn't show his 'real' self to people unless he knew and trusted them well though.

Kurt was the only "celeb" death I've ever been really affected by. He was my idol as a teen, deep lyrics, great music, such an artist. I still get sad when I think about, or see him anywhere.
I would agree with you on the convo thing, him and Jim Morrison.

"doomed from birth" makes me very sad.

In Mayan astrology, he was a White Mirror ... and that is a very difficult placement. Only strong people can endure having this glyph.

The White Mirror forces a person to see themselves at every angle. It should be obvious to everyone who has made it to adulthood to realize that people tend to ignore anything other than how wonderful they believe they are, the ego tends to self destruct if anything other than believing they are wonderful is presented.

The White Mirror reflects even the shadows ... and a person with that much water in their chart was doomed from birth.

Just did Ian Curtis' birthchart. 5 placements in water maybe a 6th. I don't know what time he was born. Wow, totally cool. Anymore super sensitive people? I will look them up too.

Archaeologist

Good songwriter and sense of melody.

Really crappy guitar player.

Wanted fame real bad, when he got what he wanted he felt guilty for "betraying" his background. Total bullbutter of course because as a musician/artist everyone wants to reach as many people as possible. Apparently he thought the very people he was against (jocks, corporate types) would overlook his music but he freaked out when it turned out they actually liked it.

Had a false sense of humility, since he was really ambitious from the inside.

Surrounded himself with the worst possible people (Courtney Love and a bunch of other druggies)

Just a typical Pisces, really.

being in the area for a trip, i went to aberdeen, washington a couple of weeks ago to get a sense of where he grew up. it's a very run down depressed logging community where most of the stores downtown are closed and poverty is pretty evident. it's not quite on the coast and is isolated from much of WA and you wouldn't go there unless it was your specific intent as it's not to or on the way to anywhere. i got the sense of how much of a culture shock it must have been for him to go from a place such as this to world wide stardom given how sensitive he was.

9 placements in water. That is just so amazing to me. It almost seems impossible.

I barely have any water.

The next time I am asked to answer one of those "person you would have most liked to meet" questions. I think I might just choose him. I bet he was really deep.

would there have been anything specific you would have liked to have conversed about with him?
there are the kurt cobain diaries out there on amazon; they are quite erratic and deeply deeply confusing - you close it thinking - wtf was this person actually going through?

Kurt's diaries were cool. But Courtney's I

found way more compelling.

I'm a Cancer male. ===

He had a lot of water. No wonder how he ended his life. By the way, Ian Curtis came to my mind when I read this thread and after checking his birth chart, he had a Cancer sun, Scorpio moon and other water placements. I guess I can say I'm glad I only have three water placements in my chart.

You know I was really trying to learn about myself. I wanted to know if having little to no water makes me rather unemotional. Somehow through all my clicking away, I ended up reading about him. I didn't believe it so I went and did my own chart with his birthday. I was like NO WAY. It seemed so very special.

You are quite welcome, my dear.

well that is always an honourable thing to do; trying to learn and understand ones actions and emotions. you have a scorp moon too right? (same here) i´ve noticed one thing about the water placements; it does not make for lovey dovey and uncomplicated....rather contrary.

are you drawn too water people?

i lack earth in my chart; and i am very drawn to them - they seem to balance out what i lack. strange.
