lionness is a crazy and immature female .. she gets easily bored, and loses it over what she wants but can't have she feels obliged to tame a challenging prey to prove herself she's the butter
judging from zebra's rebellious attitude, he must be playing hard-to-get had this zebra been an easy catch, she'd have lost interest in it and moved on
however zebra may not be playing any games .. maybe he just wants to run in the wild, enjoy his freedom be chased by other lionesses (an ego stroke) but not be caught and eaten (marriage) he's a self-absorbed %?*@%#!& and has little regard for a lioness emotions
she'll even chase other zebras to make le zebra jealous but given he's a narcissist, he won't be annoyed .. as long as he has his harem of lionnesses, life is good
If the Zebra had been "easy" she wouldn't have had to try so hard.
do you think she resents the zebra for not giving in ?
IDK, she was clearly worn-out and unable to continue the chase, or maybe she just wasn't hungry enough. After all there are plenty of zebra on the savannah. The zebra, on the other hand, still had the strength to flee as he was fighting for his life.
Interesting stare she gave the camera crew, though!

interesting indeed .. do you think she'd go to the length of telling others lionesses he isn't worth the chase, he smells bad etc anything to persuade them from chasing him ? or would she take the mature road ?
Hmm, she put a lot of effort into the initial attack. If he did indeed have a foul odor she might tell the others, but only to be sociable, I don't think she would lie.
However, I'm sure that zebra smelled delicious, I can imagine she had a lot to say about that to her BFF's. After all, a lioness is proud, no? Why would she want anyone to know she ran after a stinker?
