some parts of the world have..at the recent OAS (Organization of American States) meeting, the majority (countries that are in North, South, and Central America)voted for legalization and decriminalization of drugs to reduce drug related violence and profit. While these countries are negatively affected, the U.S. is the destination for the drugs and the origin of many of the weapons used by narco traffickers. The only two countries to vote against it were the U.S. and Canada..hmmm..these other countries are thinking about leaving the OAS and forming another coalition but it's hard to get anything done in this hemisphere without U.S. approval.
