He got hit by a car, took him to the vet and they said he had severe brain damage, swelling around the brain and broken bones.

Had to put him to sleep. It's just a sad day.

RIP my beloved friend!!! I'll never forget you!!!

I felt lucky to be able to care for him. He made it easy as he was such a sweetheart!! I could tell he was in so much pain when I took him to the vet. I'm so glad he is no longer suffering.

I got a sympathy card today in the mail from the vet with a really sweet note written in it saying how sorry they were for my loss and how lucky Shadow was that even though he had a short life...he was very loved. I thought that was so sweet. Didn't know they did things like that.

I miss that little guy like crazy! But I know he's in a better place with no pain now.
