What a neat situation you are in to learn more about YOU. 😉 No one here can really tell you what you should or should not do. We can share our experiences with you especially if we have been where you have however, it is your decision to make the choice that is right for you.
I am curious as to why you may choose to get back with Matt if he speaks ugly to you, you have to beg to see him and he does not allow you to speak to your ex boyfriend. Is this the type of relationship you want for yourself - is it working for you? Find out what you want, what you need and never settle for less than what you deserve. Missy, you are not married to "control-freak" Matt so you can if you want ..... go out to dinner! Go and have a great time - enjoy 🙂

I think you should DEFINTELY goto dinner with that new guy from the club...the simplest line to absorb, spoken by Faith evans," when love hurts it won't work"...its MORE than evident both of you are incompatible...and btw, him talking about all of you being friends if you get another boyfriend is BULLSHIT, right now he's just telling you what you want to hear, he'd explode if you agreed, and started looking for a new guy,He just thinks this is what you want to hear, and you'll look at him as understanding and caring, and wouldn't want to leave him, trust me, right now he's just trying to run game, please do us all a favour and make it backfire.....

i left my previos relationship of 5 years for the guy i was just dating,
we broke up on saturday because i decided that i had had enough he spoke ugly to me, i had to beg to see him, he wouldnt go to a club with me as he was to jealous, he would sulk if i wore high shoes/skirt, i wasnt alowed to speak to my ex boyfriend who is one of my best friends. so on saturday i danced with a guy his friends called him and we broke up.(i was going to break up with him that night anyway cause i had enough). he called me and said some really nasty things
but then yesturday he called to apologize we spoke for a while he even said if i get anouther boyfriend then we must all be friends. now the guy i danced with has invited me for dinner tommorow what should i do is it to soon do you think matt and i will get baack toghether?
