Posted by BikerCh1ck I think the smoking was her secret. Not mine. I was just going to pretend that I didn't know and I would just let her get away with it. I was happily surprised that my bf kept his promise and showed me that he is loyal to me. Oh I know, I meant when you told her not to tell her boyfriend, she didn't want that over her head. And yea, she can be bad at keeping her own secrets (I'm like that. I can't keep my secrets but I'm a steel trap when it comes to others.) But yea, extra brownie points for your man! |

I think she may not have wanted to deal with secrets between the both of you. I know it can be annoying to hide a habit from roommates. It'll just be easier if they all know and accept it since you're all supposed to live together. Either that or she's horrible at keeping secrets!

IP Nah. Not upset. I am just checking because I want to see how other people are perceiving situations like this. I really dont mind that she smokes. I'll let her get away with it as long as she shows respect in anything else that I do So all good. |

IP I am just doing a reality check here.. I recently moved into a new house. I share it with another girl. It is a non smoking house. So since the first day she told me that she secretly has a cigarette at home but she puts a towel underneath the door to block the smoke. I said that was fine by me however I asked her not to tell my bf because he is a smoker and when he would move in I wouldn't like him to smoke at home. So couple of days ago she was upset of her grandmother's death and I was next door to lent her an ear. My bf walks in and he fixes her computer. So first thing she tells him was that she was smoking at home secretly. To my surprise he stuck to my side and said that even that he didn't mind either her smoking he was going to keep his promise and not smoke in the bedroom. Would you call that girl cookiemonstery? or did I took this too personally as my bf said? |
