Posted by westside LMAO. What about movies ? video games? music? buncha millionaires just singing. not even one of them has ever cured cancer with the damn singing!! Getting millions for just opening their mouths. lol. Sorry Westside....sports, (football) has saved my life in more ways than one. I had ZERO friends in 2nd grade cause i was different. But one day at recess, after months of not being picked to play and getting to only watch classmates play touch football, I was asked to play. I played and was good. Better than a lot of them. I even had a nickname by the next recess, THE PICK-OFF MAN, i didnt know right away what it meant, all i knew was that it had to be cool cause now I was getting picked by the team 'captains'. I finally fit in cause I was good at a sport. The fact that i was latin and didnt have brand name sneakers didnt matter anymore. All thanks to football. So i love my NFL, man. The only thing that I love that has never let me down. So now as an adult when I watch the NFL, sometimes i'll remember that day at recess and remember why I love spending my Sundays watching a bunch of millionaires playing a game. True story. |
