Taurus is most readily known for it's appreciation of the simple pleasures of life. They are attracted to natural beauty and they may also have a desire to express this through artistic means. They don't necessarily go for the brightest and shiniest object. They want quality and lasting value. Taurus is highly sensual. If it feels good-touch it. If it tastes good-eat it. If it smells good-wallow in it. If it looks good-buy it. Self denial is not their cup of tea.

Taurus often defines it's self-worth by what it has attained in the material sense. Taurus then can be described as materialistic.
