Taurus guys and older women

ninjamu
haha, i'm involved with a younger taurus man myself. psh, he's only 2 years younger but still... anyway, we share mutual friends and ALL of his friends are older. we're both in our mid-20's and these ppl we both know are all in their late 20's-early 30's. he's definitely more mature. though he's already starting to talk kids with me and it hasn't been that long... red flag much?

Definitely true. Although there are plenty of younger women that are very mature and carry themselves in a certain way that lots of young women don't.

I have heard of a lot of taurus men that like older women.

degree's are useless in practicality.... they are only good for meeting requirements... as I mentioned in another thread, education doesn't only happen within the walls of a university... I mean after all there was a time that such a thing as a degree didn't exist.... it was created as a means of proving you had been educated by "great minds" but who are these great minds and what are THEIR qualifications?... it's all subjective... I've taught myself several languages and had already read the entire economics text years before I even enrolled in college for the first time....and I got an A in that class..... and my international business class, and human resources management class, and organizational behavior theory and management class...and I didn't read the texts for any of them...just did my assignments, because I already knew what was going on. You can pick up a book and learn about anything. Or learn from real-life experience.

So.... moral is, don't worry about whether you've got a degree, worry about whether HE thinks you're intelligent and interesting to talk to - which it appears he does

Ah girls, he seems quite mature for his years, as I'm quite youthful for mine. So we sort of met in the middle. Just good dance partners, and by the words of both of us: the best conversations we had in a very long time...

But.. then again, I guess I've done all possible things to sabotage the fragile connection that we had. Maybe just to help him to pull away, because he's been not sure in wanting us to get closer (it was even before I told him my real age, but hey, it was him who kept on coming back). But maybe he's been looking for assurance from me, that I'm ok with it, don't know..

GreatBull: steady job - check. Looking hot - who knows, been told by him and on the street that I'm one beautiful lady (some of the latter ones were beggars, so maybe they were just looking for some spare money, ha!). Teaching him - depends, but lets say - check;o) Only thing that's missing is degree, but as he said: it's not proven that we have a brain so why worry? ;o)

Well, I used to always date men older than me, even just a year or two, but now all the men that are attracted to me are at least 5-10 years younger than me. Don't get me wrong, it's flattering to a point; however, I now have a boy, yes, I said boy, who is 20 years old and sweatin' me something fierce. I just don't have the heart to tell him how old I am, as he thinks I'm like 25 or 26. The person I'm casually dating now is 10 years younger than me, but I have to say, he is uber mature (in most aspects) and the things he is immature about are the same things that men my age and older are immature about! So, I have the best of all worlds It was difficult at first for me to even get involved in the situation, but somehow, it's been ok. Despite my intentions to sabotage things! lol
I agree with you too xAngelFishx that I never was one that was all over keggers, etc. I did all that in college, and it was cool, but I've moved past that stage in my life and dating someone younger means you have to do some things that you think are a bit young to you, but I also make him do mature things, which he appreciates too. I take him nice places, and I don't preach about it, or make him feel young or anything, I just take him places so he can experience different things.

well it's a taurean thing in general... if you read descriptions of taurus you will see that they usually say that taurus matures faster than most.... and that has certainly been true for me. I generally prefer older men because guys my own age are too immature for me. Particluarly at my age, they all still have a party mentality, and that just isn't me. My idea of a party is a dinner party at home with board games, not a house party with a keg, or a club party in the VIP lounge.....

As a first thing: internet is no good, one can get lost in there. So I did, sort of. Amongst other things... Ahem... Better later than never, huh?

So mr right bull;o)
I guess the bull I'm happy (and sad, because it ended, in a way..) to know could be one of your kind who's not too intimidated by all of this. But in our case I'm afraid there were too many other aspects, one of them was mother tongue (we are from different nations)...

you wrote: "yeah, i'd be a little more expecting of certain things". Care to elaborate? ;o)
serene sir?ne
Well, not that much older women, say, up to 10 years...

Would you date a woman older than you? Would it freak you our to know her real age quite early into dating? Especially when you thought at first that she's about the same age as you? Would it change the way you see her?

Just wondering here...
