Thank you for your reply, You told me everything i needed to be affirmed in my mind again. I have just come to the conclusion we both have different views on how a relationship should be and where certain priorities should be placed. I know many see the romantic aspect of distance... love knows no bounds and distance shouldn't matter and all that crap. I feel like prolonged time apart weakens the connection between two people and increases the likelihood of drifting apart, cause i feel it, he says he doesn't and Ive had his heart since the day he met me... I don't know, maybe the aries/virgo thing doesn't work... we love each other like crazy but the basic principles, priorities and views on certain aspects of life and a relationship are definitely different. I think the only reason we relate is because he is virgo sun with numerous fire in his chart and I'm aries sun virgo moon. I am starting to feel like I'm being selfish and difficult because i should understand like he said that he is making money and it's gonna benefit us... but as an Aries, love rules my brain not money and 3-4 weeks is absolutely ridiculous to me and is not what a relationship is... OR MAYBE I'm just feeding into his crap? 2 years HAS to mean to he gives a crap right?... i'm just going through a phase of insecurity i guess... You virgo's drive me crazy, cant live with you or without you.. |

IP | ^ You are not wrong for feeling the way you do. I understand what you're saying, but he does have responsibilities. He probably wants to make sure that he is financially secure. Give him time. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you or that he is uninterested. It just means he is hardworking and disciplined. These are admirable traits, if it gets to that point, of a husband and father. Let him save up so he can show you a great time. Who knows, maybe he's gonna surprise you when you least expect it. Be patient. |

| The reason why i asked this question was because my Virgo is working out of town, 4-5 hours away and he has been gone for 3 weeks almost 4. We have been together 2 years, he texts me all the time i just feel like if you really missed me like you say you do wouldn't you have come back by now? He had difficulty finding a job for some time and now is working with his friends family and is getting paid by the day and apparently it's for "us" and he wants to make as much money as he can and blah blah blah, so do you guys think I'm being needy and insensitive or am i right for expecting our relationship to be a priority as well? OR does this seem like a Virgo who just isn't into the relationship anymore.(excuse the grammatical errors, it's late) |

I am a Libra in search of understanding.
Posted by Virg916 We're a tricky bunch. Aries are really good at being straightforward and Virgos excel in subtlety. Try asking about his interests, fears, concerns...etc. Communication is key. And also, reassurance is really important. Reassure him. Let him know how much you love and appreciate him for all the little things he does and, most importantly, for being the person he is. We're extremely hard to read. Sometimes our internal "uneasiness/worrying" can cause doubt and uncertainty in our partners. They start to feel as if they did something wrong or not good enough; even though that may not be the case. It's almost as if we unintentionally transfer our own concerns onto our partners. Sorry!lol! In reality, the Virgo is his/her own worst critic and wants to be the very best person they can be; especially for someone they love and/or trust. Talk to him, love him, and reassure him. Tell him what you like/ don't like and you ask him to do the same. Don't worry. Continue to be the awesome Aries I know you are. You're a brave one. I know us Virgos can be difficult to love. Thanks for taking a chance on one. Good luck. Hope everything works out. Thanks for this reassurance. I have tried to throw the towel in on my virgo so many times. He is 37 and I am 42. He has had some set backs and has a bruised self esteem because he lost some hearing around the age of 5 after suffering from pneumonia and wore hearing aids from then on. He is such a wonderful mind, spirit and body. I have actually grown to love him as much as I was attracted to his mind. I originally told him that I did not want a relationship, relationship but just to be friends. He agreed, but several events happened to let me know that he was not happy with that arrangement. After some push and pull, he said he is learning to give me the space I need to come around but he is impatient and working on it. It gets to be a little weird and I think and feel that I am all wrong for him and that I am not what he wants. But the look in his eyes when he looks at me; all of those things that makes a woman goes super soft and quesy inside OMG. This post really sheds light on a lot of things for this Libra. I think I am not going to give up on this relationship...that I really want to grow and not rush. He does tell me that I give up too easy, LOL I thought that was funny coming from him although he has no patience. But I am often |

Criticism will increase Mean-ness will increase Argumentative behaviour will increase Patience will decrease Interest in what you have been up to will decrease Less instances of cuddling post coitus Hmmm. I've been with my 2nd Decan Virgo for about a year now -- and he is wonderful; I love him dearly. But lately I do feel like he is slightly less interested in me and what I am up to. And doesn't seem to create time to be with me as often. It may just be he is busy and as we have grown more comfortable in the relationship he isn't trying as hard? But this concerns me slightly. Sometimes I wonder if he really has a desire to be with me for the long-haul; or if he just sees this as a good relationship for now. I hesitate to mention anything as I don't want to be "that girl" having talks about the status of our relationship. I guess I just wish he made more of an effort during the work week to make time for me and see me. Also; the more I think about it -- the more I wonder: do Virgo's have deal breakers? Are they only looking for perfection? Have I failed some 'test' (or multiple ones) that have made him decide somehow I am not "the one" but he is with me anyway because its fun and easy for now? And maybe it's like ariesbabe says -- Virgo's don't want to be the breaker-upper?

And usually there is nothing he's actually done to upset me; he can just be passive at times. |

"Do virgo men avoid being the one to break up?" In short, definitely yes. And when a virgo man tells you that you look perfect, it means he is serious about you. I've only used perfect about one girl I've known, sadly it didn't work out but the word "perfect" is synonymous with "the one" for virgos. |

IP Posted by wgamador2 Remember how at the beginning when you asked, "what would you change about me physically or what's your least fave part of my body..." and the answer was always a "Nothing. You are perfect." Well, when sudenly there is a list of flaws, when before you were "perfect"--- i think thats the first sign of things to come. I'd look for that. And this applies to everyone, not just Mr. Virgo. lol!! reminds me of my virgo man.. i dont look perfect but always tells me i am perfect..well,not for every body but i am perfect for him that's what he said!! well, havent heard that flaws list yet!!

Posted by ariesbabie Isn't it mentioned that criticism is a general part of a Virgo's character though and it's meant to "better you" or something a long those lines?
i think what they are saying is if he wasnt as 'critical' before then suddenly it seems like he is Mr. Critic. Constructive criticism and destructive criticism are vastly different things and unfortunately for all, Virgo is excellent at blurring the line between both. Thats why we are so good, ummm, deadly at sarcasm. |
