I heard rule of thumb is the aspect experiences both influences. So then if you have a lot of cuspy aspects you're made of even more pieces than you think.

I'm digging this up because (I'm sitting with my coffee and) somne perceptive soul has once again said: "Don't forget that you're made of more pieces than you think" or something to that effect. Maybe they just think that I'm more than A piece of work...

Haha, great mantra though

On the cusp board, many of us have said that we feel the influence of both signs equally. For me, life can be complicated because when the traits of each are similar and agree, the strength is doubled, however, when they don't, trying to find a balance that will please two signs like Cancer, a water sign and Leo, a fire sign, can mean conflict. I know I feel an inconsistency in my decision-making sometimes. I can make up my mind logically and with certainty one minute but intuition comes along and the feeling is so strong I will change my mind completely. Along with the other influences in our chart, cusps have an extra challenge of finding out what holds true for them to each of those sun signs. Generally I think, the more we learn about all the aspects, the better we are at finding balance. Most people think that the sun sign is the only major influence but there are many pieces to each of us. Since most people only take from astrology what they want to take from it, finding all those pieces can take a long time and some people stop wanting to know who they really are and remain a mystery even to themselves.

I totally feel the intuition vs. logic except I don't possess a logical gene in me it's something undefinable I'm blindly grasping at. I can also see why people mistakenly think I'm consciously choosing to be a hypocrite at times. I don't need concrete proof to believe in something yet, when "things" happen around me or if someone brings something for me to comment on, my thought process suddenly becomes very rational and overshadows my intuition and usual openmindedness.

Sometimes I'll immediately jump on the wagon and think it's a good idea, then call back, again, and again to let the person know that sure this is a good idea just don't, please remember, and lets safeguard against... But sure, lets try it, only so and so can go wrong and then I'll imagine the worst scenario which never plays out so in the end it wasn't all so bad. The worst thing for the other person will be if I'm still pissed off that I wasn't given enough time to think through everything and plan every possible scenario. I'll be seething inside because it was unroutine, that's the absolutely worst thing to me.

My initial intuition about others is usually correct, I've not found it to be wrong yet. Yet, I'll find myself rationalizing, again, again, against my

I can definitely get behind that. But maybe it's a mix and the cusp is all tangled until the decisive moment...then the more dominant half shines out.

Oh no! I can't get my foot out of my mouth this week, I can't begin to count the number of times I've repeated like a mantra: "If I knew what I was doing, I probably wouldn't be doing it" (SagiCap, neither Sag nor Cap) and I've had a very accident prone week too. It's been a mild winter so far, it was sunny and not really cold today and I had to fall on the only slap of black ice in my winter hiking type boots.

Yesterday I read some very in depth descriptions of Scorpio (my Asc.) Sag and Cap and I mainly identified with the Scorpio and Cap descriptions of the general sun signs and female descriptions.
