My ex girlfriend, a Scorpio, always used to say 'You're so damn bossy' . And sure enough, I've always been bossy and domineering. I wouldn't know how not to be. And up until recently I thought my ideal partner was someone with a submissive nature, but having met a special Scorpio at work she's totally changed my mind on that subject. I realized that in my past relationships my dominance usually depended on that the girl I was with needed to be "put on her place" one way or the other. That's not really dominance, that's me playing daddy. I don't want someone who constantly needs to be pampered or corrected, I want a real woman who's on top of her shit but not afraid to show vulnerability, ask for advice or feedback, and receive emotional support.
I think that despite what you all say, in the end the kind of man you will most likely stay with is a man you can "dominate". That's the most common thing about all the successful relationships I've seen, that the man let's the woman be in front; he let's her lead. It's not being submissive, it takes confidence and trust. It means she has deserved his total respect. Have you observed how among singles, men are the active part while women are usually more passive. Those roles switch once they enter a relationship.
