About Me:
Totally freakin' awesome, LOVE being me! Posted by caligula I was born February 20th at 7:45 A.M. -- which makes me barely eight hours past being born on quite possibly THE most baffling day to be born (astrologically speaking!) since Pisces generally starts either the 19th or 20th depending on who you ask or what chart you consult! So I *am* a Pisces - nearly by the book in most instances - but I have these strange little "non-Pisces quirks" which I attribute to my age, and my non-Water placements that outnumber my Pisces planets (four, and NO other Water - NO Cancer, Scorpio, Virgo OR Gemini planets anywhere!), and the influence of the Aquarius I just barely missed being, and that I was born on the cusp - The Week Of Sensitivity. (In other astrology forms, like Sidereal - I'm an Aquarius.) But I'm still very Pisces with my Pisces Ascendant/Mercury, but with much-needed earthy grounding from my Taurus Moon/Mars, and fiery flair from my Venus in Aries. My extended natal planetary placements contain nearly equal amounts of Air (mostly Libra), Earth (mostly Taurus), and Fire (mostly Aries). I'm one confusing, contradictory woman -- but I love me, and love being me! HOLD THE PHONE! Astrologically altering information just in! Wrapping my mind around it! -- Posted by LadyScorpP Posted by Nefer And a day later: That discussion up there ^^^ is what I talked over with my Mom tonight.. I mentioned how strange it was that I feel so Aqua, when I have so many main planets in Pisces.. she was quiet a moment and hesitantly asked if birth time changes anything, even if birth time is only a LITTLE off?.. My heart starts pounding.. I said that indeed it CAN change things considerably.. and what is she getting at? Well, I was born in the backseat of my grandparents' Buick on the way to the hospital -- that's always been known, and they laughingly blame my COLD start for my sheer hatred of Michigan winters. Also known: my umbilical cord was cut in the parking lot, my Mom was given a private room in 1972 WITH my bassinet in-room (because I was born outside of the hospital, to protect the other babies from my "germs" lol), and though the first on-scene physician who attended me had his name TYPED on my birth certificate, he never actually SIGNED it (that nearly prevented me renewing my ID in CA in 1996!).. since then, I learned the reason for THAT.. he could NOT sign, as he did not witness the birth. My youngest child was born at home, in the presence of my mother, and SHE had to sign his BC cuz no doctor CAN unless they SAW it. What I did NOT know: 7:45 A.M. is NOT my actual birth time. 7:45 A.M. was when the doctors plucked me from the Buick, and what they insisted HAD to be put on my BC. I was actually born at 7:15 A.M. (my grandparents DID have the presence of mind to note the time for my Mother!) and I was a half-hour old when they reached the hospital. I never knew. 40 years, and it never came up. That means I have an AQUARIUS Rising, NOT Pisces! And that explains a HELLUVA lot! o.o I am intuitive and adaptable, and can see the good in almost anyone, the silver lining in almost anything. I'm a self-perfectionist, yet forgiving of others' flaws. I am emotional and sensitive, yet aloof and self-contained. Mysterious and secretive, yet scrupulously honest and loyal. I am loving and fiercely protective, yet have almost zero jealousy or possessiveness. I hold on loosely, yet won't let go -- unless I must do so for sanity; sometimes mine but usually theirs. I tend to put others before myself, and have had to learn that I too deserve things. I generally see myself as uninteresting and dull, when in reality people are helplessly drawn to me and find me anything but boring. I'm also athazagoraphobic in a very, very big way. Athazagoraphobia is the unreasonable, crippling fear of being forgotten or ignored. To my knowledge, I've never been forgotten by anyone significant to me even over 20 years later, so this ridiculous phobia of mine has never reared its vicious fang-filled head. I'm a jack of all trades, yet master of few (or none!) I have a "been there, done that" mentality, because at my age with my life -- yeah, I pretty much have the whole collection of T-shirts and key chains. I am my own Jerry Springer Show, and I do not care what anyone thinks of me. No, truly I don't - not even you. I was raised by a strong-willed Virgo mother whom I love, and have a snake-in-the-grass Scorpio father, whom I positively loathe despite his being a sign I intrinsically understand and usually adore. My (all younger) siblings are TWO Leo sisters, and my brothers are Cancer, Libra, Scorpio, Aquarius... and Leo. (Lotta Leos!) I have four wonderful children, the light and delight of my life, two very different Taurus daughters, and Aries and Leo (!!) sons. My husbands were Capricorn (wed/divorced young) and Cancer (my very best friend, and left some big shoes to fill when he died), and my current/future beloved is a fascinating and infuriating Libra... who fits the male version of the glass slipper that's been empty for many years! I've dated or been friends/involved with probably the entire spectrum of astrological signs, and have formed thoughts and opinions on the patterns I've observed, which I will likely share with you at some point. Take my advice with a grain of salt; heed or ignore it, I will not mind either way. I only add my two shiny pennies to give you more information from which to draw your own conclusions. Remember: Everything happens for a reason. Also: Karma eventually evens the score. Sun in 1st House (Pisces) With the Sun’s energy in the First House, your personality drive will find expression mainly through personal issues related to self-image, physical appearance and personal interests. You are required to acquire knowledge of self in order to sustain a true sense of identity, purpose and destiny. Strong will-power and self-assurance add strength to your personality. Very brave, positive and competitive, you develop natural leadership qualities. Your enterprising nature, with a capability for seizing opportunities is another factor for success and obstacles are overcome by sheer physical courage. You are to become self-determined and self-sufficient, carving your own path in life. Your enthusiasm for life may manifest as robust health and vitality. There may be some tendency to pride and insolence at times. Moon in 3rd House (Taurus) With the Moon in the Third House your feeling and instinctive nature will find expression through social intercourse, daily mental diversions and general conversation. Your speech and thought are heavily influenced by feelings and moods. At times others may view you as changeable, Indecisive and a bit of a dreamer. (But the Taurus grounds me.) Your day to day response to circumstance is strongly conditioned by environmental factors, especially social and domestic discussions. There is also a love of traveling and a desire for constant change. (That is at war (and winning) with my Fixed Taurus nature not liking change! lol) Mercury in 1st House Your mental and communicative abilities will largely be applied to personal issues relating to self-awareness and the search for an intellectual social identity. You have an inquiring, competitive and intellectual mental disposition, with above-average ability to express yourself orally and in writing. Many intellectual avenues will be explored through an innate drive for knowledge and new personal experiences that stimulate the growth of mind and personality. Your mental qualities are ideally suited to academic and scientific work. No Shit. o.O Venus in 2nd House (Aries) With Venus in the Second House the areas of life where you are most likely to express your social, romantic and artistic qualities is through a search for wealth, personal possessions and social status. Your romantic partner is likely to be wealthy, capable of supplying the material comforts that you desire. Possessions that give aesthetic pleasure and some material security are important to you. A talent for business is indicated, especially business related to music or the arts. With your monetary skill investing money will be both intriguing and enjoyable. If you have an artistic hobby then there is a good chance of making money from this area. I'm careful/practical with money, and I am a bit of a packrat lol) Mars in 2nd House (Taurus) With Mars in the Second House you are likely to exert your energy and initiative into business enterprises or other financial dealings in an active search for personal wealth. Capital is acquired through careful investment, sheer hard work and clever financial dealing. Strong-willed, determined and resourceful you enjoy a challenge and thrive on opposition. You may become a financial genius, or a mere spendthrift. (Still careful with money.. but occasionally a total spendthrift who just WANTS it, so she GETS it lol) Jupiter in 11th House (Capricorn) With Jupiter in the Eleventh House you will find luck, ease of working and general good fortune through generous friendships and social activities within groups or clubs. This position of Jupiter brings true, influential and fortunate friends, and associations with prominent persons - legislators, senators, judges, bankers, doctors, professors, etc. Development and gain can be expected through such acquaintances. Social success, popularity and honour can be expected. Saturn in 3rd House (Taurus) A Third House Saturn suggests that your career or area of responsibility in the world relates to an ability for mental discipline, concentration, mental control, orderly reasoning and logical thinking. Much hard work is required in communications, writing and obtaining relevant educational qualifications. A profession in teaching, administration, accounts, publishing or some kind of research is likely. There is a need to discipline the mind against needless worry, gloom, restlessness, anxiety and misgivings. With maturity a contemplative mind, responsible, thoughtful and capable of concentration on serious or profound subjects is developed. The technique of clear communication in speaking and writing is of paramount importance. Uranus in 8th House (Libra) With an Eighth House Uranus you are likely to seek individual freedom of expression through an interest in unusual forms of occult work or through original ways of viewing life-after-death issues. It is probable that you will experience peculiar psychic states, vivid dreams and something of the astral world. There can be sudden and unexpected benefits and gains through your marriage or business partner or an unexpected inheritance. Expect many changes, unusual experiences and constructive crises in your life related to the above issues. (Indeed.) Neptune in 9th House (Sagittarius) Neptune in the Ninth House may indicate that your imaginative and spiritual potential will manifest in an ability to gain knowledge through intuitive and mystical channels. You possess a clairvoyant, psychic and highly inspirational nature and are likely to investigate psychic phenomena, religion, psychology, philosophy, spiritualism, astral projection and other profound subjects. An inner need for transcendental rebirth could dominate your life. At times you may experience ominous foreboding, strange dreams and negative emotional states. (Check. Also stronger, for being on the 10th House Cusp!) Pluto in 7th House (Libra) With Pluto in the Seventh House opportunities for transforming or regenerating yourself may come through marriage, close personal relationships or business partnerships. General well-being is dependant on intimate and fulfilling relationships. Success here depends on how responsible you are in your dealings with partners, psychological compatibility, co-operation and the ability to understanding the emotional needs of others. This is a good position for working with law and the legal system, and with the public, particularly indirectly as through the courts. North Node in 12th House (Aquarius) There is a need for seclusion and self-evaluation - circumstances should eventually guide you away from the too-material, worldly aspects of life. The inner structure of your being may be changed by direct contact with the more profound, unconscious, spiritual realities of existence Part of Fortune in 10th House (Sagittarius) You will seek happiness through accomplishment and in fulfilling a constructive role in society. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else. Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear. So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to-do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. It won’t matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end. It won’t matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant. So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured? What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave. What will matter is not your success but your significance. What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught. What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example. What will matter is not your competence but your character. What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you’re gone. What will matter is not your memories but the memories of those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what. Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident. It’s not a matter of circumstance but of choice. Choose to live a life that matters. |
