I'm a cancer girl kind of seeing a cancer guy on the side. About once a week we get together with friends. Every now and then we get together where it's just us. This alone time spent together is awesome. The kisses we share are probably the most passionate I've ever felt. He gives me sweet compliments that make me melt. I think I'm falling in love with him. We're not exclusive. We're just having fun. How do I find out what his "for real" feelings are for me without getting rejected. I'm so afraid to open up to him I don't want to get hurt. I'm a cancer with a hard shell myself, I should be able to read him better than anyone, shouldn't I? What should I do? I'm so afraid of getting hurt especially when I have no idea not even a clue how he feels about me.

Ya know...there was that song..."Does he love me, I wanna know..."etc. etc. Answer (according to the song) "It's in his kiss"...
I am in a relationship that turned slowly from friendship to serious...we didn't talk about serious stuff too much until he invited me to share Christmas with his family...
Ask him straight out non-threatening questions...not something about how he feels...but, ask him what he thinks the components of a "perfect" relationship would be...I would ask him specific questions regarding matters of the heart...but, make them generalized questions...
This will give some insight...
It may tell you whether he is the one for you...you may have views that do not mesh...
Lastly, try to enjoy what you have and not wish for more...if it is meant to be, it will happen...be patient!
