I am just wondering here, if you, the OP, have thought about PTSD and really researched it. I am just wondering that. Especially if he was Army, and especially if he was deployed during the height of the war in the Middle East.
If you really haven't, and you really haven't seen some of the documentaries and research on soldiers, you may want to. It may open your eyes up, a whole lot more, and make you understand him better. Many come back, and their world view changes because they were put in situations that civilians have no idea about. Watching people that are essentially family, killed and blown up in front of you, by a child of 6-12, isn't that simple to get over. I am just saying.
