Posted by Black-MambaFather has some college, one son has a bachelors in civil engineering, other son has no college. I've worked with people with masters degrees that couldn't put together a paragraph. Well educated doesn't necessarily equal intelligence. Always keep in mind post secondary education is a very profitable industry.Posted by Jules-llPosted by Black-MambaFather/son combo owns it 100% , no partners.Posted by Jules-llPosted by TheRabbitThe privately held, family owned company I work for started as a small electrical and civil contractor, their gross revenue last year was over $ 500 million. Not chump change for a youngish company.Posted by Black-MambaPosted by TheRabbit
To be honest, the whole white collar vs blue collar culture war butter is played out. Our society needs a well rounded, capable, and varied workforce.
If you're still looking at the other side with derision because you think you're better, you're probably not nearly as smart as you think you are.
You can eyeroll all you want, but as other posters here have also pointed out, I know blue collar guys with their own businesses making way more money than most white collar office guys and are in the position to soon be able to sit back and work minimal hours letting others run day to day operations while the white collar guys are still putting in long hours just to afford their student loan payments.
who owns it? lol working for one and owning one are two different things
