Definitely don’t do anything you’ve suggested! Wait till you bump into her again and see if she Is into you. You’ll know if she is, and if you don’t see it. It probably isn’t there. If she’s in her 40’s the gap is doable but if she’s in her 50’s probably not even a consideration. She’ll have kids your age!

A general conversation of weather and day to day small talk would be a better way to start before full on hitting her up on a date. Don’t be in such a rush.
