To be honest, I find it WEIRD when people categorically claim age difference is not an important aspect to consider when choosing to date someone or not. I suppose it would be convenient for you to be against questioning this, as in your case there is an (I suppose) important age-gap in your relationship.

To be honnest i don't think it's a question of age but of maturity you can find someone way too older but still childish at heart and the opposite ,I don't want to judge but sometimes age dosen't change anything if you are a guy who dosen'ts have so much experience in general
