I don't know, I wouldn't do it. If it was me I wouldn't want someone to bring his baby on our first meeting. That seems very odd. So he brought the baby with him on a business trip? Who does that?? And when he has meetings who takes care of the child? Where's the mother and why she allowed him to take the child "on a trip"??
One thing that strikes, very odd and not in a good way. Not manipulative but dangerous in a way.
Perhaps he has sole or majority custody and his job is flexible to allow him to have his kid at work. Or provide child care on site. Keeping your kid close is kinda sweet. That’s not really so much of a red flag IMO.
But I agree with you. I wouldn’t do it.
Imagine how miserable that toddler is after a long flight then add on meeting dads lady friend. Disaster in the making.
I have yet to heard companies offer that kind of accommodation.
Added they don't seem to know each other at all and the father bringing his child along the way with strangers is considered as child endangerment to me.

I work for a company that has daycare at all branches worldwide. We work long, yet flexible hours, so this could be the case for that guy.
Still not responsible to bring kid on the date.
