I am going to get into more specifics here. I was staying at my friends because I was visiting out of town. I was sleeping on the couch which is not that far from his room.

I dont know if you're a victim of assault or not. But I really am sorry that you experienced that if so. But the blindspot real sexual assault victims have is the reluctance to really acknowledge or call out the perpetrator when rape accusations can be refuted.
This dishonest behavior hurts real victims in the long run and needs to be examined. So someone else said I dont trust myself to be in control around intoxicated women WTF?
I guess some people live under a rock because some women NOT ALL weaponize their privlege So your telling me a woman that passes out drunk at a MALE friends place and wakes up the next morning wont immediately assume he didnt do something? Yeah right. I believe you should listen to a woman's side of things when it comes to matters of sexual assault.
But it doesnt mean you believe them right away until you have all of the information. Unfortunately you have SOME women that weaponize their privilege. I mean look at the stories of Emmitt Till, The lacrosse team. I know Jezebel may say otherwise, but not every man is a Harvey Weinstein, or Donald Trump. I successfully got my friend to have her stay separately after explaining what may happen.
Remember, my friends female has a boyfriend and unless they are swingers he would not be happy about her staying in a room with another man. And when a lot of women get caught in a lie, they rarely take accountability and always deflect as much as they can. I dont know why its so hard for women to believe that some in their own gender can be calculating and downright evil.
If I can acknowledge that some men can be toxic in terms of women which I know they can be then feminists can do that with their own gender. And there are women on social media platforms like instagram and tik tok who are liberal and not trump supporters that have acknowledged that some women can be really toxic in their behavior towards men. Lets stop the gender war nonsense and be critical thinkers for once.
