Black Americans is your police really that bad?

I am white, but I’ve dated black men and have been in the car when they get pulled over for dumb shit.. one time my sons dad was pulled over for going ONE mile over the speeding limit. Another time pulled over for missing one screw on his license plate. In my early 20s, my ex boyfriend was taking me home one night and we had a cop follow us around for a long period of time, following us in circles just waiting on my ex to forget to use his turn signal so that he could have a reason to pull him over. He was profiled because of the car he was driving. (Because of prejudices they assume that a black man driving a Cadillac must be a drug dealer)
Then there’s me… a white blonde woman that has driven around on expired license plates or a missing headlight for months without ever being pulled over. It’s sad and it’s not fair that they are harassed and profiled based on the color of their skin.
On the flip side, I have also been friends with cops who weren’t like this at all, and one was black himself.
