The sad part is I donāt think he was making a joke. I donāt have children, but have heard men saying theyād love to have a mom and a daughter.
that's gross....but I can definitely tell now that it was a joke, a really bad joke after speaking with him face to face
In every joke there is a bit of truth. If someone said this to mom and my mom still went out with that guy, I would be livid! š”
I think Iād be more upset with my momā¦just saying.
I donāt have a good feeling about this guy. You continue as you think is best. Itās your life.
Just gross and sleazy š¤¢
Yes me too
Terrible role model to the daughter
He really wasnāt joking
He is gross and sleazy for sure
š¤®
I have heard men my momās age tell my mom āoh, your daughter is beautifulā
I never knew how to respond to that? Do I smile and say thanks or say fuck off, creep? It was always awkward. Just awkward.
And I am not even young anymore. Imagine someone who isnāt even 18 and the guy is what? 35?38?
Is this how men think? I would love to be wrong!
I think the top is a respectful comment and a compliment to your mother, but that's through my male filter.
Yeah. I guess it could be worse. It could be ācan I get her number?ā Or āyour daughter is ugly/dumb/fat/whateverā
I did have several men my momās age interested in me. But my brother says itās only natural. He said the older I get, the older the men will get too. He is no filter, no BS āļø Aqua guy with very unconventional views, lol. Sometimes he gives me dating advices and I just cringe š¬
He's right on the latter. The window is about 10 years each way. That's not to say you won't or can't get older and younger.
He says if I want to be the younger woman, I better look to 55-60 and up. He says men who are like
35-45 want someone who is only 25-30.
He always told me to just find a nice, NOT good looking, and rich man. And he would take good care of me. He says I never used my beauty in the right way, because I went for good-looking idiots. He said all my boyfriends were idiots, just idiots š„ŗ
My brother told me all men cheat so I better get used to it.š«¤Heās an Aries.
Oh my God, girl. Lol! Your bother is a straight shooter Aries, haha. Love it!!! ā¤ļø
My Aqua brother told me to always have my own money. He said men are assholes who will leave me with nothing. But then he also said to find a rich man. I guess he meant no matter what, to always have something of my own. I would say I am quite independent. He also said to always work on myself. My health, my mental health and my looks. To be less sensitive in life and have more of a bitch attitude. Not a bitch that walks all over people, but that doesnāt let people walk all over me.
He is a good motivator but we do butt heads sometimes because I have a lot of Leo in my chart.
Yeah my brother also told me I need to be a bit bitchy. He said men are all dirty fucks. Lol
My brother says a man will respect and love me more if I adopt that bitchy attitude. He said itās better people fear me than pity me. He said never to stoop low. Always fake it until I make it. Itās better to leave a man than be left. He said to always have couple of men and never put all eggs in one basket.
Disagree with the top bit. A bitchy diva attitude will turn most men off. You will attract the ass kissers and arse lickers, but nobody solid. Men who have their shit together or are experienced with women won't play those games. It might sound ageist, but on a woman in their 20s it is a bit cute, past 30 it is just irritating and embarrassing.
Be assertive and speak your mind and speak up for what you see as wrong, but be a drama queen. Disagree with the middle bit as well. Fear, respect and pity are three different things. It's best to keep people close who love and care for you than fear you. People who love you will always respect you. I think you idealise people too much and as I've said you do the Gemini thing of going back and forth and what you knew was just what you knew.
You will always have other options. The juggling men option only applies early on to avoid attachment or appearing desperate. I do it before I enter a committed relationship and never cheat once it is real.
Like I said, lot of these advices are āancient cultural wisdomā š (meaning to be taken with a grain of salt and not literally).
I do idealize people and life too much. I donāt think that will ever change
It's sweet. You're also not as naive as my ex. I wished she took my advice, I'm not saying I was right all the time, but I could have prevented a lot of problems. šæ
Is that your most recent ex who passed away? š
Geminis are quite naive, yes. It can cost us a lot in life. Sanity and even more.
I've not dated any properly since, not for moral reasons, just not met anyone I want to make a go at it with.
That takes time. Would you like to find another Gemini?
I know I can get on with Geminis, but I don't have a preference really.

Yeah, neither do I. I donāt even know what Iām doing on astrology forum, lol. Iāve been ālearningā about astrology since I was 12, but I barely know anything besides just the sun and the moon. I never even look at synastry with any of the guys.
I donāt think I really believe in astrology, deep down.
