Yes I do at least in regards to the ideology that what goes around comes around and that we do pay for our transgressions in one way or another. I believe in karma from a quantum physics and spiritual perspective. My concept of karma is that the energy we put out into the universe is the energy that we get back which ties into the law of attraction for me and relates to the circulation of positive and negative energies. I believe it happens in this lifetime, it can happen instantly or over a period of time and possibly in past lives but I haven't quite made up my mind about reincarnation just yet though I'm open to the possibility of it.

    - Spiritual/Pantheist
    - I identify more with liberal views

Yes. Also believe in the golden rule which is a simple concept but people mess it up frequently.
Spiritual, not practicing any religion but raised Presbyterian, converted to Catholicism in my 20's. Being in nature is my church.
Ugh, don't get me started about politics. I'm libertarian, govt in N America needs to be downsized to where it should be. But that's my idealistic view that people will look out for each other.
    Don't know.

So far the majority of women say they believe in karma, while the majority of men say they do NOT believe in Karma. Interesting stats ?

Depends what "karma" they're talking about. "What [morality/immmorality] comes around goes around" etc., is not "karma." It's the superimposition of New Agey nonsense on "Hinduism." The concept differs further depending on the various schools of Hinduism. And if that weren't enough, it differs even further depending on level of self-knowledge, i.e., there is no karma, or any other concepts, in the state of realization, which is really not a state at all, and so on.

Reaping/sowing, what comes around goes around, etc., is just common sense. If you're an idiot for long enough you'll get burned. If you're generally good and exercise common sense, you'll have an easier time. But in terms of worldly/phenomenal experience, events will still happen based on your... "karma" - but this kind of karma has nothing to do with "good" or "bad." It's prarabdha - that is, just what you're supposed to be experiencing as a body in the phenomenal world based on a past that is now out of your control, and which has no real bearing on self-knowledge. And even this sort of karma is nullified (i.e., it doesn't actually matter) when a certain "spiritual maturity" is reached.

Yes I have noticed more than anything in this thread that there is such a broad view/idea of what karma actually is. For one person karma can mean one thing and for another person it can mean something totally different, it’s eye opening and I apriciate seeing different point of views. It’s also interesting how many religious views there actually is, I feel like I’ve been living under a rock after hearing some of these religions.

    I believe in it.

This is the reason why I always treat people how I want to be treated. I don't do bad stuff to people or hurt feelings.

I will avoid them but I won't purposely hurt you. If I know that I have, I will apologize without a second thought.

    Yes I do.

I believe we are reborn everyday but we can't see past this physical barrier. We have a chance to renew ourselves. We die in physical form but our life continues in other forms. So having said that, there are no past or current karma. Karma is our subconscious trying to wake up.

We wouldn't be here otherwise, we have another opportunity to experience life and to suffer for it because of our past desires and choices, regrets and attachments, it's what we what want ultimately. We're given what we want in the end even if we don't realise it, hence we pass through many rebirths to understand and experience life (not necessarily human) in its entirety

What I mean is, how we interpret time in relation to our life (using past, present, current or future), is not how karma works. Karma is continuation. The rebirth we experience is physical but karma is not. It just is.

Waking up the subconscious is a collective effort though. It is interesting now how we try to connect via internet. We are pushed into a direction where we attempt to merge via technology but we fight it. It's like fighting to be awake because sleeping is too good.

Anyways, that's just my current interpretation of how this butter works.

We are the product of karma, our consciousness, and what stage of life we are currently in are the fruits of our actions and reactions. Our existence is subject to it always.

What you're referring to is the universe and it's mechanism through the use of eternal karma to keep all things in balance or in check. ⚖

We are saying the same thing, are we not?
