who here has done psychedelics?

if you have, please share what you took, dosage, and if you've experienced anything metaphysical during those experiences.

Salvia, Shrooms, something i believe was special k, mescaline from a san pedro cactus

the salvia was the most intense as i went into another dimension where i was spinning on a bicycle tire rim

the shrooms almost made me cry cause i had so much sympathy

BUT believe it or not one of the first time i smoked weed i had an out of body experience where i saw myself sitting in my car

my experiences with salvia were miserable, like never ending falling through my bed and into a bottomless pit of abyss and demons. it was horrifying. did u enjoy salvia?

yes i enjoy losing control but i didnt see any demons, everyhting was a pleasant sunny world

my buddies said i was trying to communicate in gibberish and trying to run out the door but my reality was totally different lol

lol, so no memory on your end of running around talking to things in that sunny world?

Lsd, Salvia, and Toad. Have not dabbled in shrooms yet but I'll get there. Only thing I've experienced on both LSD and the 5-meo is I accepted I was dying faster then normal (some butter my brain made up) and i was okay with it. Toad I had to force myself to breathe because it was like I wasn't there, blackness and stars my body wanted to just cease to exist and I was just simply okay with it.

Salvia, that's just a hit and miss each time. At the time I was ignorant on it, friend handed me a bowl of 20x took a few big hits and yeah, I couldn't even set the pipe down I thought i was saving wet children from a drowning school bus. Couldn't figure out how to get it out of my hands ahaha. Pouring it all over myself in a sad attempt to understand what the treetrunk I was holding .

LOL that is the most hilarious salvia story i've ever heard. what exactly is toad?

Lol that trip. I called them wet kids but in my head they were like bean bag children drowning.

Also a friend of mine who struggled with cocaine addiction for 10 years, went to Peru to do Ayuaschsa twice over a 4 month period. She hasn’t touched it since. Amazing things for PTSD and drug addicts. It’s like10 years of therapy in 24 hours.

heh, i took ayuaschsa in NJ with a shaman and a group of people to help my coke addiction too. it did wonders. my friend quit smoking cigs too after her experience with me. truly a life changing experience.

You learn a lot about someone’s mental health when you do psychedelics with them. I will say that. I’ve never personally had a bad experience. Always fun and enlightening. I’ve seen people lose their butter though.

I'm voice texting so bear with me but I know a person who grows his own psychedelic mushrooms crushes them up puts small doses in capsule form so they're in small doses and takes them as an anti-anxiety he doesn't really see hallucinations none of that.... it is literally as an anti-anxiety medication.

I've experimented with microdosing mdma and lsd and both are beneficial and almost unnoticeable in small doses.

lsd in micro doses is almost like having a sweet caffeine rush but without the crash.

Following. I would love to try DMT.

I've heard stories of people breaking out of a simulation that we know as life, meeting entities on the other side, who communicate with us this plane is terrible and wonder why we get stuck here. They just "knew" that they belonged in this other realm. These could be psychological cope mechanisms though.

I don't think it is a psychological coping mechanism.. I believe there are realms and other beings, and from what I read DMT triggers our pineal glands, which is.. Uh.. works (??!) when we are about to die or something..
Of course I would love to try it. I wanna know if I can enter other realms or dimensions..

i am 98% certain that every time i am on psychedelics, my brain becomes unfiltered and takes in higher dimensional presences. hence the crazy ass shapes like a million tesseracts shifting back and forth, the breathing walls, the physical shape of sound, seeing beyond matter, reaching and interacting with my subconscious-self, feelings of complete clarity, ego death, and facing energies beyond our comprehension.

Yeah, I think so too, it seems our body acts like a bottle, a container. So if the container is made to "break" a little, "something else" may enter..

exactly this. this is a neat read: https://www.theguardian.com/science/2016/apr/11/lsd-impact-brain-revealed-groundbreaking-images

    Thanks for the read.

Interesting, so LSD can be used for psychatric disorders treatment...

Anyways, if with LSD making the brain part that is responsible for creativity is enhanced, doesn't it mean that the visions and perceptions one sees during the trip are based off imaginations?

So these sense of oneness or outer realms thing is imaginations?

But then again, if the imagination is collective (different people seeing the same thing) it must not be just imagination, it must be something else, really, that actually exists.

    Sorry if i sound confusing..

I still believe in outer realms and dimensions.. So yeah, good to know!

being that i studied psychology in college, i can confidently tell you that til this day, we barely understand how our minds work. we understand it to an extent, but theres a whole lot more happening going on that we haven't been able to comprehend. like you, i believe in outer realms and dimensions. look at it this way, we carry life on us every second of our lives without being able to see a damn thing with our naked eye. i'm talking microorganisms.

there's also matter, things we can see that are made up of atoms, but we can only see atoms via microscopes and not the naked eye. til this day, physicists are still trying to figure out if anti matter or dark matter actually exists and there are many theories surrounding that. point is, we really only know so much about our selves and that there very well can be things that exist that the naked eye cannot see or observe. like we just discovered gravitational waves i think last year, which proves einsteins theory of relativity is valid and dude came up with that theory in 1905. science is constantly evolving, proven right or wrong over time via studies and experiments, so yeah, i totally am open to the idea that it's not merely us projecting imaginations and that there's something way more going on here.

    Awesomeness!
There is so much things we don't know, I agree with you, we are still evolving, finding out more each day.

    LSD
    Psilocybin mushrooms
    Ketamine
    MDMA
    MDA
    5-MeO-DMT
    2C-E

    How were the trips?

All are very different obviously. The 2C-E was probably the worse. I haven't taken a research chemical since. butter got just a tad too weird and I couldn't bring myself out of it like I can with other psychs.

So is it true that those drugs can be used for psychiatric treatments?

And woah.. Couldn't bring yourself out.. How?

Really? I loved it. The auditory and visual hallucinations were so beautiful to me. Auditory can be scary though.

Don't get me wrong.. I love everything about tripping. But, I don't like not being able to bring myself out of a trip.

5-MeO aside (because there is no escaping that ride), LSD I've always been aware that I was tripping... even during the heaviest of peaks. But with 2C-E.. I couldn't tell what was real or not anymore. It was almost like a dissociative state of mind like being in the K-hole.. but not quite. It's hard to explain.

What doses were you taking? The highest I definitely remember taking is 40mg.

Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Despite the outcome mentally.. I feel I am a much better person. I see things a lot more differently than I did before my years of abuse.

I had depression before I started. I definitely feel as though doing all of what I did has made me a better person as well, though.

As did I.. but I think the abuse exacerbated it.

I’ve taken lsa, lsd, mdma, mushrooms, and dmt. All my experiences were good, except for on the morning glory seeds. Mushrooms or DMT are probably my favorite. Dmt I saw “aliens”, I was standing somewhere very unknown yet familiar, like I’d been there before.

One time I dropped acid with my hubs, and we went walking. We saw an old lady laying on the ground in her front yard messing with her water meter, and the hole in the ground turned into a rabbit hole and she fell in. We literally stood right there and had a convo about it and wondered if we should look for her, then kept walking. I have lots of stories, but I never forgot that one lol

I wonder how the theme of DMT for so many people is always so similar.... seeing some kind of entity or higher power and always feeling comfortable or familiar around them. SHOOK 😱

I think my mind is too dark to do these drugs though. Like Fisk said... I don't think what will happen would be good. I have some serious baggage and demons that live up in my brain

I used to trip pretty much daily (literally) and I was a loooooooooot worse off than I am now (minus some of my functions; unrelated) mentally. I was always with a group of friends though. I did have a bad trip that I mostly blacked out during once. I dunno how long it was for, but I remember little pieces here and there. After I came out of it though, I felt soooooooooooooo good. I had the confidence of a God, as I was one. It almost felt how I imagine it would if you could feel what it felt like to be the "cool character" in a movie or show. Real relaxed, nothing will happen kind of head state. Just clarity and composure. Damn, do I miss drugs sometimes.

curious as to why you'd try to trip all the time when it is literally almost impossible to gain a physical addiction to them since our bodies build a quick tolerance to them within a day or two after ingestion?

False. Like Damous.. I lost years of my life that I can't remember. 3-4 years of tripping acid weekly and MDMA multiple times a week.

Your body doesn't physically get addicted, but your mind does. You become addicted to an alternate reality.

Hm, my mind just was fatigued after i tried this for two weeks, to the point where it just wasn't doing as much. i'd have to take more each time, but the come downs would be way worse each time.

Well.. I'm also an alcoholic and was at my heaviest drinking during that time. I had no control over myself of my life. Ironically.. that is also when I joined DXP, and how much folks remember me.

damn dude. are things better now?

Naw.. I take a pretty high dosage of antidepressants. Pretty sure I developed a serotonin deficiency during that time that lead to clinical depression. Still an alcoholic.. albeit functioning, but my psych use is limited to once or twice a year, typically when vending a festival.

Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Despite the outcome mentally.. I feel I am a much better person. I see things a lot more differently than I did before my years of abuse.

i wish you godspeed towards your continued path. do you find you're drinking less than you had or about the same due to your tolerance building up?

when i used to abuse coke and mdma, i too was clinically depressed, both depleted of dopamine and serotonin. but i'm happy to say i am out of that stage of my life today and dont regret any of my past actions.

I drink less that I used too.. But I still drink a lot compared to normal standards.
