That would be fun to do for a year!

    Absolutely Cool

Kind of aiming for a lifetime m'selfLaughing

Wow! I think that's a brave thing to do!
I see it more as a holiday destination for me. Like owning a cabin in the woods kinda thing. treetrunk the knitting and sewing bit though. Too boring! Everything else though!

Would it be family thing for you or more communial with other families?

hehe nah it's not that brave...
if I fail I'll just start again elsewhere.
No stressh/ but yeh, it's a personal project- I have no family to consider Big Grin
MAYBE if I enjoy the set up and learn enough I'll consider letting others buy in and start my own casual commune.
At the very least, a community will need to be nearby so I can trade and barter... Nerd

"Prefabrication can dramatically lower the cost of a home, which is why the tiny DublDom homes are so attractive. Designed by BIO Architects, the DublDom modular house series are available in a variety of sizes, starting with the smallest 26-square-meter option priced at a little over $ 14,000. Each cozy home is clad in timber and double-glazed windows, and can be easily assembled in just one day."

I happy to hear that ♡ ... very Sag imo.

I loathe the corporate ladder, as well.

The function I serve within it is fairly static and

and is based on longevity & consistency-- my

Taurus Mars can do business with that.

However, I love the principle you're standing on--

its not entirely selfish because the economy is

the way it is to control people.

And when others see you succeed (under non

    enviro-reasons) they will follow.

    Wow.

I'm curious, Wags... what is your primary

motivation for living off the grid (other than

internets of course!)-- is it the freedom of self

    sufficiency?

    Or enviro-stuffs?

    Or... ?

    And where's your Mars?

    *curious*

    o.O

    Goodbye thanks for dropping by!

My main motivation is basically a strong desire to disconnect from the monetary system we have currently.

To do that (I believe there are several ways) but for meh to do that- off grid living seemed the most feasible and the most likely path I would enjoy...
    It's a selfish cause,
not particularly linked to enviro-stuffs but of course, you meet people with those ideas, and can't help learning more about that aspect of it too.
And yes the strongest secondary- is a need for self sufficiency/ in that I see it as a personal challenge. And I prefer that to say- meeting performance targets in a Sales Role or achieving a certain promotion by such and such age.
This is my version of that sort of goal.
