urgent disappearing Scorpio has returned but why

So I am a leo and was talking/dating a Scorpio for a few months.. We never discussed relationships but one day I decided to ask him where we stood he told me he liked me but only recently came out of an 7 year relationship. I then asked him if he wanted to carry on going out? He didn't reply and the other day (2 months down line) he messaged me asking about one of my photos I then replied but he gave me dead end answers. Today he then sent me a photo again of a joke do I decided to make convo I then said I was surprised to hear from you its been a while. He said yeah I know I thought I'd see if you was all ok.. How should I act with him? What does this mean?

Im a double scorpio with a leo rising so I know what you're going through. Anyways scorpios are really moody and get attached to people who care about them, and if you aren't caring about them in the moment, then they will get disinterested.

But when you show them you love them they will be the best of friends, but if you lie to them. They usually know when you are bullshitting its just something scorpios have a knack for.
