I am asking the Taurus population who they trust and why they trust the person they trust.

I want an objective point of view on how Taurus determine trust. I don't want to put in my two cents because I don't know, thus I created the topic.

Myself. My family. The most. I have known these people the longest.



I would trust to a lesser extent my group of friends.



...i don't know all friends equally as well...I don't know i would trust all my friends equally it doesn't mean they are not good people..it just means i don't know well them well enough or long enough.

I have a feeling I will get a lot of people saying they only trust their family. Which is fine, so you trust your family because they know you the longest? That resonates security to you? I want some clear answers, if I am being too intrusive please let me know.

Time is a good indicator. I agree. Now that I think of it, I do have a friend of mine that I trust. She is a cancer. I trust her, not to the extent I trust my family, but we have been friends for years. I will try to write out why I trust her in the next comment.

I'm a nurturer. (Honestly I am.) I usually put the interests of the whole above the part. In other words, I won't put my interest first if it will negatively impact others. I try to find the middle path. Often when given the choice, I will let others have what they want, over what I want. Pisces martyr trait maybe. I just don't sweat the small stuff as long as my basic needs are met.

One of the people I trust the most is another taurus. I think the only taurus man I know closely.

I trust him because he and I made an agreement at the beginning of our friendship to always be upfront, not to hold back. To speak with absolute freedom. If one of us disagrees, we're free to say that too.

We don't coddle each other, but we deeply respect and care for one another. There's no being politically correct, no sugarcoating for fear of hurting the other one's feelings. Whatever sweetness comes naturally and it's not a cover up.

I trust him because any piece of advice he's given me has always worked out for the best.

because i can say and do anything i want without being judge by her i tell her everything

my family judge me without knowing the real reason behind it they dont even ask why im like that that sometimes i question if they do care

Lol, not even a full year. But it feels like I've known him for years. He really is like a brother to me.

I think same sign friendships work when your dominant elements aren't the same. He's more fiery than I am (aries moon and venus, sag mars). We get each other without being too much alike.

I have always had a good, supportive family. We all get along very well. I maybe wouldn't trust them the way I do if I didn't have good parents with a decent head on their shoulders. They cared and raised us right with proper values and morals. They are always there for me and supportive of my decisions.

I have levels of trust.

Basic level: Everyone starts off here unless I get a shady feeling about them on meeting. I assume when I meet you that you're a decent, imperfect human doing the best for yourself, that you have no cause to harm me, and that most of what you do in relation to me is about you, not me. If you show me I can trust you, you'll move up. If not, you'll move down.

Hands-off level: I'm pleasant to you and assume no ill will, but you've said or done things that make me put you in the hands-off "watch this one" category.

No trust level: You did something to show me you can't be trusted. You'd have to do some major work to move out of this category. It might not be possible. I probably don't talk to you, or if I do, I'm thinking you suck and not saying much.

Friend level: I trust you to be kind and supportive of me. When you crack a joke at my expense, I take it in stride because I know you don't mean anything by it. I'd do stuff for ya.

Life has taught you some valuable lessons, which you seem to be using wisely. You say you don't trust yourself at times, is it because of decision making? Or something else? I know Taurus can be indecisive when it comes to making important life changing decisions. I know because I am a Taurus as well.
