Cooking

How important is it to you to be with a woman who cooks? I can't cook at all and I kind of worry about it for the future with my boyfriend.

Her cooking game is more important than how she looks to me.

No, I'm not joking.

Yes, I'm a man. I don't want to do everything by myself. She cooks and manages the kitchen and I clean everything and maintain the lawn and garage.

Fair trade I think. 50/50 on everything else.

You did ask...
teach yourself how to cook. get good. charm men into submission without saying a word.

none of my exes can really cook. one didn't even know how to make boxed waffles. i had to walk her through it so she could make it for her mom. not even joking. you don't want to be THAT girl.

(from a woman's perspective since this is on the mancave forum)

if you can't cook that's worse for you than anyone. how are you feeding yourself? buying food out all the time? getting tv dinners or snacks?

forget about your boyfriend in this really. it's just part of the basics of taking care of yourself/being an adult.

i think people who don't teach their male children how to cook are next to satan. how is anyone supposed to feed themselves with healthy food if they're not taught?

my husband is dominant virgo, so anyone who is dominant earth /part earth is gonna love that.

it's very important to him. I notice too with my sisters, the Libra brother in law with my sister, cooks too, and does the shopping, cause my sis works alot. the virgo brother in law also cooks, but only if it's his turn, they take turns and have a schedule.

unless your man is a wealthy man who can hire lots of chefs and you and him just have to wait for dinner to serve at a desired time (such as being Prince and Princess or Duchess and Duke of England Princess Middleton and Prince william example) you dont have to lift a finger and enjoy your day. Even the cleaning is done by the servants.

soooo. us regular folks need to cook and clean. i do the bulk though, cooking, cleaning laundry grocery, errands, and garden work we both do it.

seriously before you move out ask your mom to teach you to cook. just start with basic staples for your family that you want to be able to have all the time. and watch her and help her.

it's the best thing you can do for yourself before you move out.

my mom was teaching me to cook at like 12-13 once i was old enough. and i did most of the cooking (with her help) for many years. she didn't so much with my sister and there's only a few things my sister can make. very limited. so it's much different

There are some people who actually are not into cooking at all. Even a Taurus I know doesn't want to cook at all.

So no matter if they wanted to learn, they don't feel the spark in it.

I do agree that everyone can learn to cook to survive yourself, but there are some others that wants to take a short way.
