    In terms of military effort, one could argue USSR, but if no Lend-Lease via the US, no Soviet army.
    Battle of Stalingrad was a big turning point in the East where the German 6th army got annihilated-but the big error was Hitler ignoring his generals.
    The opening of a second front via North Africa-Sicily-Italy-Southern France-Normandy was huge and took pressure off of the Soviets.

    If the US had stayed neutral in the European theatre, Europe would have looked a lot different.
