Yes it’s weird. It’s a business arrangement and it should remain that way.

I say this as I use to own a gym and my PT’s were told the rules from the get go about keeping business as business.

It’s an industry where the lines are frequently crossed and causes a lot of drama and certainly never goes unnoticed. You could potentially get him in trouble.

Also, have you asked your husband what you should buy him and if he thinks it’s a good idea? 🤔

    My marriage is open lol

Your life style is yours but this is your personal trainers career and life, not sure that’s open.

You know just because you live the life you love you still have to be respectful of others, not everyone is where you’re at.

My trainer gave me a plant as a gift because we’re obsessed with them so that’s why I’m wondering if I should return the favor.

Are you returning the favour or is there an ulterior motive here? I’m just dating there is boundaries, professionally and personally.

It’s a nice thing to do for anyone. Would you be saying the same thing if the trainer was a woman?

If she Was a lesbian then yes I would. In This industry people mistake the trainers dedication and also friendliness for more but truth of the matter is, you are their bread and butter. They HAVE to be friendly which is mistaken for more. They are doing their job and helping you stay on track with your goals. I’m not saying they don’t flirt but that’s in order to maintain the income that they are getting. It’s a really tough industry and really hard to replace a good paying client. They need at least 25 sessions a week to maintain a normal income and more to excel!
