"however, having to remind a person of your upcoming birthday not only once (but twice) and telling him that you expect something special on this day--- doesn't this advocate laziness on his part ... and neediness on your part?"
I dunno. Maybe. In his eyes a birthday is "just another day". He didn't expect anything special, so in his mind, he's probably wondering why I would expect anything special. I reminded him that I wanted to feel special and told him how I wanted him to make me feel special. He then took the time to think "I like her, she's asking, I'll do it."
Am I needy? When Godiva chocolates and roses are involved, Yes. I'm Taurus.
Birthday's have nothing to do with business. Running a household, being a good father, being a good husband and provider and taking all the right steps year after year to achieve ultimate harmony in the household have to do with business. One day of "showing you care" is bs -- a lifetime of showing you care is business; that's hard work. That's Capricorn.
I could also be very wrong on this, but that's how I've come to understand my Cap man.
