While I respect your criticism, I have to politely disagree about me taking him for granted and being lazy. If those gtoss generalizations were remotely true (in this particular case), I wouldn't be here looking to get a general understanding of what to do better.
And all your comment above tells me is WHEN to do so, which I already get. I am looking for suggestions as to the WHAT. Because what works for me as a Taurus won't work for him, and being the kind, generous, selfless person he is, when he is happy and well, he will tell me everything is great. I want to alleviate the times where he feels I'm not by making sure I show appreciation in every way possible, perhaps in ways that don't naturally come to me. Or maybe him feeling that way is inevitable! I'll still give my all to reassure him anyway.
Thanks to everyone for the advice so far!
