In NYC specifically, cannabis is the drug of choice nowadays, alcohol the most widely used, and cocaine a distant third, which is understandable since coke is stepped on more than a stage at a Rockettes show in this country.
We also have a fairly large market in molly and shrooms, other psychedelics are rarer but easily enough found if you go digging.
Everything else like opioids....well stuff like that is ubiquitous across the country but isn't super popular in the city higher rates of use in the suburbs around the city where funnily enough...the other stuff above is less available. - It gets all chummy but hasn't answered a single question, fascinating.
