sigh. i don't know. you're an older married woman living in another country chasing a man who says he doesn't want to be a in a relationship with you.
i can appreciate that you're unhappy in your marriage and this seems like a welcome distraction. you've convinced yourself that this is meant to be, that the universe is giving you signs. it's comforting to believe that but from the outside looking in, you're behaving like a thirsty teenager.
deal with your butter first.
removing this guy from the equation;
decide if you want to stay married
decide which country you want to be in
decide what you want for your life and work out the way to achieve that.
once you figure those things out, you might realise that this guy is not that important.

My best advice is to take the initiative. See where it goes. He clearly likes you.
Thank you. I won't see him at least for 7 months since I'm in another country. Would you suggest me to initiate communication all the time I want to talk or just give him space and to wait until he reaches me out first?
I have a fear, that he may forget me completely since I'm not around anymore, but at the same time I understand that we can't control things like thatclick to expand

I've talked to a few married women whom I did not realize at the time we're married, and I'm not going to lie, that thought did cross my mind. Are you divorced now? If so, how has he acted since your divorce?
Yes, I am. I spent 10 months in my country being alone already. But we never discussed this topic since we didn't have a relationship. During 9 months there was only flirtation, he initiatively hugged me (actually, I felt like we were closer than before, I don't know.). When we were at a bar or cinema, we hold hands and I always felt like maybe he waited for me to make the first move and kiss him, idk. As I mention, he even stayed at my place for a night even though I didn't ask him to stay)click to expand

When men in general say that they dont want a relationship, they just dont see you as wife/girlfriend material

I read about 3/4 cause that was looooong, but it sounds like he likes you but doesn't want to be a home wrecker. You have some baggage you need to deal with before he really lays his claim to you.
