That was meant to be "It seems about every scorpio i know has rarely accepted responsibility for their actions. When it?s us ?mere? mortals, we certainly know about it, especially from you guys". And by mentioning "mere mortals", i am being very sarcastic.
Well, first of all, i will make it clear that it is a free world (for the most part) and i will say what i like! And Scorp 209 or whatever your name is, you can say what you like also, which you already have. Just a few things i would like to point out about your first "bad" post, before you redeemed yourself with your "nice" post:
"You see my ignorant friend": Well, this just smacks of arrogance. Until you have ultimate knowledge, do not assume that anybody is ?ignorant?.
"sophisticated individuals": yep, saying you are going to rip somebodies "kitty" out is really sophisticated...
"I personally hate dramas": Well, thus far, you've done everything to avoid a drama haven't you?
"the average person see's thing, feels things etc at almost the same level as next person. But Scorpio's, we feel things at such a deep deep level": Oh, and you're feelings are so much more important than everybody elses?! How do you know? You made all these accusations in your first post that nobody should make assumptions about scorps, well, this is what you are doing now.
"the last thing we want is someone to hurt our feelings. Because these powerfull emotions work both ways. For the best and worst": I guess i would tend to agree with this.
"So you have alot of more expierencing to do, to lost respect for people. So until you get on my level?": I think the only level here is delusion and i do not want to experience that.
"So once you start seeing things at such a high level": I kind of feel like i already do
"I have been hurt soo much in the past that i hate even reminding myself": Well, we all get hurt, but the important thing is to learn and to heal
"dont tick us off": This all seems a little conditional to me. So, people have to censor themselves when they are around you? The truelly wise person realises that true strength is in compassion, not in tyranny
"and haters": What is a hater? Somebody who expresses their opinion?
Now, secondly, apology accepted.
"So I do appologize. And i did feel bad about it, but you see it wasnt really my fault, its the inner person inside of me". Why is it never a scorpios fault?! It seems about every scorpio i know has rarely accepted responsibility for their actions. When it?s us ?mere? mortals, we certainly know about it?
"The way i see, if a person competes with you, he's no friend but an enemy": I actually tend to disagree with you here. I think that the most challenging situations and friends are usually best for our growth, or else they are just agreeing with us and are perpetuating what could already be faulty thinking.
"Now as for the positive things, lets just all stay cool with each other": At last, some rationality
"I try so hard to resemble an Eagle": I'm sure you will make it, i cna see that you are conflicted.
No, it is no reason for terror, everyone should have the choice of how to live their life. We should respect each others differences. The Muslims' should respect ours and we should respect their choices. No more to say really, its all pretty simple.
Well i think i saw a UFO once, in the middle of the city. I mean, i was driving and it was in the sky! It was this oblong orange light that moved across the sky at a very odd speed. It's movement did not seem like a plane. Also, the location i saw it in is not a known flight path to me. The next day on the news i heard that there had been a reported UFO sighting but that it was only the RAAF testing a plane. I still wonder.
Another time, i was in the country and a friend of mine and myself went outside at night to view the sky. There are so many stars in the country sky. Anyway, we saw this one solitary 'star-like' light floating across the sky in a jagged sort of movement. We watched it for ages because we couldn't believe what we were seeing. Apparently these sorts of things are 'satelites'; an explanation i am willing to accept. It was still cool to watch though. I still believe my first 'sighting' was an alien craft.
Hehe, you've done it again. I like the way you start them with "The year is 19 something", or "The year is 15 something"... Very good and as i said, very Monte Python. I think you should buy yourself a copy of "Final Draft" and have a go at writing some scripts. Also, in Australia, we have lots of comedy skit shows and they are really funny. They have stuff like this, but not as funny. You could have a "Great moments in history" segment on each one. Also, i find them very educational. I knew that stuff about Henry VIII, but now that i have read that i will remember it even more. So you could consider creating a Pantemime company and travel to schools and do educational skits. I know, not enough $ $ $ !
Isn't it funny how when you don't expect anything, something comes out of it? Or when you least expect it, something menial turns into something fun. It's not so funny though when you think something 'good' is going to happen and it turns on it's heals and doesn't... but we won't talk about that I am really learning in my adult years (yes, i am adult, i think!) to go with the flow sometimes because you never know what is going to happen. It makes me think we cannot control our lives at all. And it also makes me question: What is the best thing to do? To surrender control and open ourselves up to new possibilites, or to be a control freak and try to control our lives endlessly but miss out on what we don't expect will happen. I am more inclined to go for the former. It's so much more fun.
I am so over debating this issue Tired, tired, tired, but i will thank you Parallax for going to the effort of responding to my post. You have pointed out some issues i will consider next time i feel like running the US, or their govenment, down for making the wrong decision. Who knows, this may all turn out for the best, only time will tell as you so wisely pointed out. We will soon see it all unfold no doubt.
I am so glad somebody has raised this issue. I don't think resistance will stop either. I have a few quibs about this issue in general.
Firstly, why did the US wait so long to 'nab' him? Why didn't they act 10-15 years ago, when he was doing REAL harm to his people?
Secondly, he is 66 years old. Hasn't the damage been done? Was he still commiting atrocities recently? Would he have had the energy to 'go on' and continue his atrocities?
Thirdly, are the Americans going to offer the Iraqi people any better than they have already have? It seems like another dictatorship to me. I fear this.
Fourthly, i am glad he has been caught, even though i feel it is for the wrong reasons (US wanted him for oil and falied to act in the past when there were other murders. I am also glad he is going to stand trial, and it would help if it was in his own country. I believe that people should 'pay' when they've done things like that.
Can i ask something? What is the deal witht the Republican and Democrat jokes? Is there a real divide in the States re- the republicans and democrats? It's like all the time you hear jokes on The Simpsons and stuff bagging the Republicans. I am confused. Is there a great political divide in the States over the two parties? Is the Republican govt. a conservative one?
