TBH, I'd like a man or partner but I think I am too self sufficient and do everything myself and have been doing so for that long that I don't know how to let someone do anything for me. That's what happened in my last relationship I felt...looking back. I've become a control freak with having to make sure everything works and everything will be alright for me and my now grown children...How do you learn to let go??
I'm like that as well, though I'd be happy to let them do something for me, but I would just have to know what that something is. It definitely doesn't come naturally for me!click to expand
And then show them how to do it the right way....right? lmao- I've woken and continued a dream...if it's a good dream then I go back to sleep thinking of it and it has continued. I have noticed most of the dreams that have continued are of people I know and are in my life..they aren't just random dreams which makes me think that they were in my subconscious mind sometime recently.

- It all comes down to morals or lack of in most cases. We also learn a lot through our parents and what is acceptable behaviour and not...sometimes we don't even understand what we are witnessing as acceptable until we grow older and make excuses for our own bad behaviour.
But then it also has a lot to do with your own self respect...it's easy this day and age to fall or have feelings for someone that isn't available, it's what we do that is completely in our control. The problem comes when you start to entertain the idea of the other person instead of walking away and having nothing to do with them...you make excuses that it is too powerful to overlook when in fact it isn't, but you want the attention and the excitement so you walk towards it instead of walking away.
Most men, if you show you aren't interested won't keep chasing..

It's like in my life time I would have possibly married only 2 men, one I did and the other I would have but he was my first and it wasn't meant to be. But others, they might think about marrying 6 or 7 different men and date several at a time or over a year period have a half dozen potentials...maybe I'm just too busy doing me and my friends and family and business so my eyes aren't in the right places...idk

- Wow, I get that Tiz...my last relationship was more about loving the relationship more than the person...was it the fact that I convinced myself that I was going to give the next person a chance rather than seek and wait for what I really wanted...I think it might have been so, looking back now. I don't even really know if I was "in love" or just that I wanted so desperately to be "in love"

- My niece is mental over this tardis...tardis birthday cake and everything has to have it on..she's 14! I grew up with Dr Who and yes he was great but it was the Darleks that had me cracking the shits...they still scare me now when I see them!! Even though they look so false, they are scary...and so is Chucky!!!!

- Most of the time I'm here, it's after hours for everyone else. There's a time in my morning that I might get to see and talk to some and when I am relaxing at night most are asleep...but there are the odd lurkers like Bling. Would be awesome to see who was online.
