Last night in Soho
Slow paced murder mystery with some fantasy drizzle. There's some great music in there, but not really used in the right way to amplify the story. Though amazing acting from the leading ladies

The French Dispatch
Wes Anderson latest work. This is no Moonrise Kingdom or Grand Budapest Hotel. Found it quite underwhelming, like I was watching three very long, aesthetic commercials. Got no soul, very disappointing.
The only noteworthy segment was the one about the artist (with Benicio del Toro). The rest was a complete borefest.click to expand

Just more Netflix trash. This streaming service seriously needs to realise that quality over quantity is always the best approach. So, please stop pumping out crap content, for the sole sake of providing a wider choice of content to subscribers.
As for the show itself, it's just another deluded, ignorant and racist American show, which shamelessly glorifies white people and wealth/materialism, in a very similar way to Sex and the City. These type of shows mainly serve to appeal to pathetic female adult viewers who still haven't manged to shake off their Cinderella complexes.
If you really want to learn about Paris, watch some classic French films from various genres for a start.
Netflix is basically similar to an all-you-can-eat that promotes mass consumption without too much depth.

An Aries ex did really well in high-school and got his dream job in engineering at biggest telecom company in Ireland at 17/18, then from there moved to a bigger company overseas at 21. All without university.
I think an apprenticeship somewhere gives more confidence and independence to form your path iteratively.
In Switzerland this model is widely appreciated, it's called the "Erstausbildung". An apprenticeship/tradeschool and then work seems to be more attractive than a college degree which is not a good return of investment and leaves you with so much debt.

I think it's supposed to be fun and cheesy, but definitely not insulting of French culture. I enjoyed it myself including the exaggerations and stereotypes indicated throughout the show but definitely could see why people would be offended by it.
