Corryn goes to her boot scooting class til 9.30pm, she always finishes a little early and gets home around 9.45pm.

Lloyd is at home with their younger daughter waiting to have a talk with Corryn (she plans on telling him to move out of the home tonight) or did he go to meet her at class? Where is the daughter if he did?

She's nasty and probably belittling him as usual, this time however instead of being calm about it all because she has confronted him with how she will destroy him financially, ethically and professionally he loses it and breaks her neck killing her quickly...

Hiding her body until the oldest daughter comes home around 11-11.30pm he greets her and she goes straight to bed knowing mum isn't at home? The car mustn't be in the driveway then??? Or how would she know instantly without looking around that her mother wasn't home?

After she is in bed and asleep he drags the body outside across the path and tries to put her into the boot of her car (maybe the car was in the garage all the time and that isn't the usual place for it) can't get her in the boot so he shoves her into the back seat.

On the journey to her burial site her body seeps fluids and blood (why didn't she seep while in the house? Is there a specific time when a body starts to decompose?)

He drags her front he car to the burial ground..

Had the hole already been dug? Was he actually planning to kill her on the 5th but plans changed because the daughters plans changed?

The card may have already been dropped when he had visited the site previously and dug the hole...

Jumps back in to the car, backs over the bollard and doesn't realise that it is spewing fluid everywhere, car breaks down. Where was he heading?? Runs/walks home, makes a coffee and empties half it out so that it looks to the girls like mum has left early and half her coffee on the bench and goes to sleep around 2.30am.

You're right, a jury can't be known to the defendant. I've been on a jury before, loved it I wonder and this is just a guess because I can't see any other reason why there isn't a jury...maybe it's because of the lawsuit and defamation of character. The police commissioner shouldn't have publicly announced that he was the ONLY person they were looking at as suspect and that was years before he was arrested. Therefore, tainting the public and any potential jurors...

My bf, was watching Friday night footy finals....still he didn't like my nose stuck in the computer all night reading almost every day at trial...haha, too bad I was engrossed! I even told him all about it Cant wait to see Baden-Clay's sorry arse hauled in there too!!

His lack of emotion is a part of him, she was abusive to him and belittled him in front of people all the time and he remained calm and collective, full well knowing this upset her more.

But his calm demeanour shows how this is clearly premeditated and he has completely covered his arse, someone in his position is bound to have gone through in his mind a dozen times how to stage "the perfect murder"...

with aside the fact that he carelessly backed over the bollard and damaged the car leaving behind a trail. Had he not have done that the body would have remained hidden for a lot longer and he might have gotten away a bit longer on her running off. Even the way he killed her there is no blood or evidence around the home until she is in the backseat of the car and the blood seeps out of her nose.

I'm still baffled about the cars following each other, I guess that will come out more as the trial comes to an end. It doesn't fit unless that phone guy was the other person in the car and more involved or the smoker of the cigarette?...but then again it's clear from the way her body was dragged around that she was disposed of by one person!

See, that Baden-Clay one is huge over here! He reported her missing and everyone said straight away he did it and then similar time her body was found and then they arrested him within a few weeks after her body was found. He is even apparently manoeuvring their assets from jail!!! The family are calling for it all to be frozen! He looks soooo guilty!

The one with yours that I'm trying to get my head around is the witness that saw the 2 cars driving together and one having a couple of people in it?? So there had to be a 3rd party as far as that witness is concerned however the prosecution is pointing finger to him killing her at home and then taking her away. Why would he go meet her at her boot scooting and then take her home to kill her?? Anyway am going to read some of the other articles....there's heaps!! haha

I haven't heard anything about this story here in GC since going to trial but then it is 5 years old case. I think our news is more local and you might hear headlines only of murders etc when they happen and then nothing more unless it's huge like Shappell.

You've given me something to read about though, flicking through a few of the pages it is an interesting story! We have one similar here where the husband (Real Estate Salesperson) is accused of killing his wife and now waits in jail til his trial. Gerard Baden-Clay, have you heard of that one over there?

What Kry said...you are just selfish! My daughter went through that...had someone hanging on for her and she clearly wasn't interested. He did the nicest things that she took for granted...so he moved on and found someone to replace her, tried to make her jealous at first but ended up falling for this girl for real!! Good on him!
